Are You the Next Big Junior Celebrity?

Be the Next Big Junior Celebrity! Here at JuniorCelebs.com and DisneySociety.com – we’re going to do an idol-style contest that allows all of you (and your friends … and your siblings … and your classmates) to show off how you are the next big junior celebrity.

And the GRAND PRIZE?? We help you set up your own YouTube channel AND we promote it on both sites!!! We will work with you to create a banner and layout for the YouTube channel and each time you upload new videos to the site (or maximum once a week) we will promote the channel.

Not to mention all the buzz and attention we hope to generate regarding the contest. The more submissions and talent we have, the better chance you really have of being the Next Big Junior Celebrity!

So How Does It Work?

All you need to do is submit an entry in one or more of the following categories:

1. Music (this can be singing, playing an instrument, a clip from your band, whatever!)
2. Dancing (this can be any style of dance)
3. Acting (this can be a monologue or dialogue with another person. If the entry is a dialogue please let us know if both actors are entering the contest and provide entry information for both)

Rules:

1. You must be 20 or younger.
2. To enter, upload a video clip to any of the major video sources (youtube, break.com, etc) and send us the link via email. The clip must be no longer than two minutes.
3. You must include the following information in your email:
   a. Name
   b. Age
   c. Gender
   d. City/State/Country
   e. Category
   f. Quick Fact about yourself that you want to share!
4. You may submit a video that has already been taped, as long as it is no longer than six months old.
5. By submitting an entry you are giving us the right to display your piece, critique it, and you must agree to keep the video available for the duration of the contest.
6. In the event that we do not receive enough entries in any particular category, we reserve the right to combine categories for voting.

How the Contest Will Work:

1. The entry period will last from today until March 21, 2008.
2. Initial entries will be narrowed down to 12 per category. This process will be completed by JuniorCelebs.com and DisneySociety.com.
3. At that time we will open the voting up to the public, beginning on March 28, 2008.
4. All voting will be done via polls within the JuniorCelebs.com and DisneySociety.com websites – so get your family, friends, and peers to get online and vote!
5. Each week we will showcase three videos from each category. The entry with the most votes from that week will move on to the finals.
6. For the finals we will ask each of the entrants to submit a second video, showcasing their talent! These videos will be voted on and the one with the most amount of votes wins!
7. Each week the judges will critique the entries but will not be allowed to vote. We’re the Simon and Paula of the contest!!
8. Viewers will be allowed to comment on entries, but these comments will be on moderation to prevent harsh critiques. We will have a zero-tolerance rule on rude comments. Remember, this is all in good fun!
