Ashley Tisdale in Teen Witch?

Ashley Tisdale is getting ready to put HSM behind her and move on to other roles! According to Variety, Ashley is in talks United Artists to star in a remake of the 1989 movie “Teen Witch.”

Ashley would play Loiuse Miller, the unpopular girl who discovers that she’s a descendant of witches and has inherited powers. The movie is a fantasy musical.

The script has yet to be written.

Okay, maybe the role isn’t such a deviation. Teenager? Musical? Hmmm…
