Billy Ray Cyrus is praising Miley for putting on a brave face after the Vanity Fair picture scandal.
“I can’t imagine being her age and going through what she went through,” Billy Ray says to OK! “I’m amazed she kept on.”
“I know the business can eat you alive,” he adds. “But I’m a calloused old veteran, and she’s a young, teenage girl. It’s a heck of a storm to survive even with maturity.”

Taking some over exposing pictures won’t make you stop showing your face!!!! You decided to make that choice, so why should you hide from the publicity! I don’t know what this man is talking about….he did a shoot with her! People thought they were lovers! Anyway, I’m glad Miley put that behind her.

shes 15, shes basicly making all the money for her family,shes been all around the world, having to stress out her voice every night,then ppl say how she cant sing…when ur 13 & singing all night,every night, ur voice will get stressed for a while & normaly ppl take breaks after touring but she didnt..,she has the whole WORLD watching her EVERY move & critisizing her non-stop & when ur growing up,being a teen,& tryin to find ur self thats not very helpful.

I’m glad her dad finally said something about it.. It would be so hard being miley.. And it doesn’t help her any when people are so mean to her.. I think if you don’t like her and if you go around saying all this stuff about her maybe you should try her life.. That girl is so busy.. Things happen but it doesn’t make you a bad person for making a few mistakes.. I bet she is a great girl and she seems really nice.. She is a great actress and a great singer.. She just needs her fans to be behind her all the way.. And the people who want to say stuff about miley just stop no one wants to hear it.. Get off her back.. All she needs is positive people.. I’m not trying to be rude and it might seem like that.. But i’m just sick of what everyone says about her.. She is young and when your young you make mistakes.. Big deal.. Just leave her alone!
