Blake Lively ‘I Never Wanted to Act’

Although Blake Lively grew up in a family of actors (her mom, dad, and four siblings are all in the biz), she never wanted to be an actor. “I never wanted to act,” she confesses. “I grew up watching [my dad] and going to his auditions and coaching him.

Blake says that she preferred academic life to a life on film. “I’m so involved in school,” she says. “I’m in every activity there is to be involved in. Every difficult class I can take, I’m taking it.” Blake was even a cheerleader and class president in school!

It was a fluke audition, suggested by her brother, that lander her the role in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and it’s been a snowball ever since.

I’m just in this fantasy world right now, I don’t even feel like I’m living it,” Blake says.
