Taylor Swift was honored at the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Ceremony Sunday night, October 18th.
The event at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel provided the official induction of the organization’s newest Hall of Fame members — Kye Fleming, Mark D. Sanders and the late Tammy Wynette.
Taylor picked up the award for Songwriter Of The Year along with Artist Of The Year! She certainly is on a role for winning awards this year

Taylor Swift just found out that she got six American Music Award nominations yesterday morning (October 13)!
Her response? She tweeted, “SIX AMA nominations??? What????!!! PARTY!!!!!”

Selena Gomez won an award for Year In Television Comedy Actress at last night’s 2009 ALMA Awards!

The Wizards of Waverly Place starlet tweeted before the event, saying, “Getting ready for the Alma Awards! P.s. Just found out when my first concert is!!”
Her castmates were also on hand. Jake T. Austin was nominated for Best TV Comedy Actor and also presented an award during the ceremony. Jake tweeted from the ceremony.

I was actually teary when I saw Beyoncé take the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards to accept her award for Best Video of the Year. Because she graciously stepped aside and told Taylor Swift to give HER acceptance speech (that had previously been hi-jacked by Kayne West).
Beyoncé came on stage and said “Thank you. I remember being 17-years-old, up for my first MTV Award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So I’d like Taylor to come out and have her moment.”
