Amanda Bynes was in a minor car accident yesterday afternoon.

The accident happened in Los Angeles, and there were reportedly no major injuries as a result.

According to the LAPD, Amanda was driving her car and hit another vehicle. There was no report of drug or alcohol abuse and no police citations were issued.

Get ready for Hairspray 2!! New Line Cinema has made a deal with the Hairspray creator to write a second movie.

No cast has been selected, and none of the stars had sequel options – but could it possibly be the same without Zac Efron, Amanda Bynes, and Nikki Blonsky?!?

The studio does hope to reunit the cast for a 2010 release and Hairpsray 2 will pick up with the Turnblad family after the resolution of the first film, which was set in 1962. Excited?

Amanda Bynes was caught leaving Mr. Chow restaurant after having dinner with her parents Tuesday night.

Rumors are flying that Amanda is set to appear in the new movie The Post Grad Survival Guide. The movie is about a recent college grad moves back in with her family while she figures out what she wants to do next. The movie stars Alexis Bledel and Carol Burnett.

In the mean time, you can catch Amanda playing Anna in an upcoming episode of Family Guy airing on FOX at May 4th.

Amanda Bynes has herself a back-up career planned if Hollywood decide she’s no longer a hot item! She’ll just go design her clothes full time.

Amanda says she’s had a passion for creating clothing since she was young and she’s thrilled to have her clothing line Dear by Amanda Bynes out at Steve and Barry’s.

And there’s a TON more where that comes from. “I have notebooks with tons of sketches I’ve been doing since I was a kid,” Amanda says. “If I wasn’t an actress, I would’ve gone into fashion, but I’m always going to be a performer first.”

Well I’m just glad to have her doing both!

Amanda Bynes recently did a quick chat with OK! Magazine. When it comes to drinking, Amanda’s definitely a light weight.

“I’m not a big drinker,” she says. “I puke every single time I get drunk. On my birthday, I’ll go out, but I’ll probably not go out again until my next birthday, which is kind of depressing. I’m tired at night, and I don’t have that energy.”

I don’t blame her!
