J-14 chatted with Corblin Bleu this afternoon and he mentioned working with Kristen Stewart! The duo filmed Catch That Kid years ago.
“Kristen’s a good friend of mine,” Corbin answered. “I haven’t seen her for a while though but it was great working with her back then while we worked with each other. She was always very funny. We had a good time on that set racing the carts!”

Corbin Bleu chatted with the Today Show today about his new album, Speed of Light.

“Everything just continues to move forward,” Corbin says. “Especially in music, art, and film career. High School Musical, obviously it was great to be a part of all three. It was a major blessing to have been involved, at the same time it’s nice to be able to have a change of pace! I’ve just been working on my music for the past year.”
“The album itself is a combination of different sounds, but it’s electronic art.“

Wishing a very happy birthday to Corbin Bleu, who turns 20 today!
Corbin gave himself a birthday gift of LASIK eye surgery. The Khanna Institute says that the surgery was painless and Corbin sees better than with his contact lesnes! He says, “The change is extremely dramatic for me because I get to skip a step in the morning and at night. My vision is so much clearer than it used to be.”

Corbin Bleu and Justin Martin celebrated with the winner of the Lunchtime is Showtime Video Contest this week in Turlock, CA!
Bronwyn Arnold won the Sara Lee Soft & Smooth ‘Lunchtime is Showtime‘ Video Contest where she produced and starred in her video entry.
The High School Musical 3 stars served up lunch to students, presented a $25,000 check to the school and a year’s supply of Soft & Smooth Bread to Bronwyn.

Corbin Bleu and Maddison Pettis star in Free Style, in theaters on February 6th!
Corbin plays Cale Bryant, a young man who is devoted to his family, and finds love and himself in his quest to win the Amateur National Motocross Championship. Maddison plays his little sister, Bailey.
Corbin is also a producer on the film AND he is featured on the soundtrack! Also rumored to be featured are the oh-so-popular Jonas Brothers.

Corbin Bleu to Perform at Kids’ Inaugural Event

Corbin Bleu is joining the ranks of Disney celebs set to perform live at the Kids’ Inaugural: We Are the Future ball tonight!

Corbin will be joined by other previously-confirmed musical acts such as Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato. He will be singing The Moments That Matter, which is taken from his sophomore studio album Speed of Light. He will be performing the track with the Mt. Vernon High School choir.
The special concert will air Monday, January 19th @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Corbin Bleu Helps Announce NAACP Image Awards Noms

Corbin Bleu was on hand for the 40th NAACP Image Awards nominees as they were announced today during a press conference in Los Angeles.

Nominees for the prestigious awards include Keke Palmer and her new Nick show, True Jackson, VP, The Cheetah Girls: One World, Selena Gomez, Cory in the House, Beyonce Knowles, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson!
Congrats to all the nominees, and make sure to tune in to The Image Awards, which applauses diversity, on February 12.
