Dakota recently revealed to MTV that she prefers to gorge on Chinese food rather than humans! “Orange chicken from Panda Express, which I had earlier today,” she said at the premiere. “So if someone smelled like orange chicken, I would for sure have to eat them. It’s the best! It’s so good!”

Elle has been keeping busy in her own right. She stars in Somewhere and Vivaldi, both set to air in 2010.

Ellen shows an image of her first interview with Dakota and she looks TINY with her little missing front tooth. They also discuss Dakota’s cheerleading schools and going back to high school. “I was in school today,” she says.

Dakota reveals that she’s very lucky to go to the school and be involved in all aspects, even though she has to go off and film for weeks at end. She was also very excited to be a Homecoming Princess.

“It was exciting,” she says when asked how it was to be around Robert Pattinson. Hmm, I think exciting is a pretty tame word Dakota!

She also says she’s a big fan of the books and read all four in a week. “I couldn’t put it down!“

Dakota talks about her movie roles, why she chose to go to private school and her friendship with Kristen Stewart.

On playing Jane: I kind of just looked at people. I wasn’t in my mirror like Zoolander, doing the Blue Steel! The red contacts were enough.

On Kristen Stewart and their roles in The Runaways: We became really close, like we’d known each other for our whole lives. We talk all the time. The relationship that Joan and Cherie have in the script is kind of the one that Kristen and I have in real life, minus the destructive part.

On Private School: I started there in the ninth grade, and they were pretty receptive to me right away. I really wanted a home base, because I feel like no matter how old people are, they remember homecoming. They remember their senior prom. And I really wanted that.

On Dating: [I've dated] one boy from my school. I have a small class, so the pool is very limited. Everyone kind of knows everyone.

Dakota was also a Homecoming princess at the event. How fun for her to go to a normal high school – even if her life is not so normal! Up next for Dakota is promotion for New Moon, where she plays the evil vampire Jane.

Director Chris Weitz told MTV that, “She’s never really gotten to play a bad person before, probably because she is a very good person. She is really a lovely young person. But I think she had some fun playing, really, the most evil of all the bad guys. [Jane]’s bad news. Very bad.”

Dakota would play the lead in a follow-up to the classic 1939 movie that shot Judy Garland to fame.

The film’s producer, Basil Iwanyk, says, “It will be set in the present day and feature Dorothy’s granddaughter.”

Co-producer Todd McFarlane adds, “You’ve still got Dorothy trapped in an odd place, but she’s much closer to the Ripley character from Alien than a helpless singing girl.”

The New Moon co-stars are rehearsing their roles for their upcoming film, The Runaways and it sounds like the duo is hitting it off rather nicely!

Kristen even took Dakota to The Roxy for a Nylon party earlier this week.

Paparazzi on the scene say that Dakota “saw the cameras outside and ran back inside, only to emerge a few minutes later from another door. Dakota ducked into Kristen’s Mini Cooper, and the two drove off—Kristen dropped Dakota off at her house, and then drove to her pad and called it a night.”

Kristen Stewart attempts to hide behind The Runaways costar Dakota Fanning as they leave a studio in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon.
