Emma Watson stopped by Late Night with David Letterman to chat Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last night!

“Yeah, I’m really excited,” Emma reveals about going to college! She will be studying Liberal Arts here in the United States.

She reveals ultimately she will maybe major in English or Art.

Emma also talks about how wet the London premiere was. “I’ve just about dried off. It was very very wet!”

She also chats about the small wardrobe malfunction. “I don’t know when this happened, but at least I’m wearing underwear!”

The whole interview felt kind of awkward to me!

Emma Watson was spotted arriving and departing the Late Show with David Letterman yesterday. Emma was there to promote her new movie ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince‘ in New York City.

The starlet premiered the film in London and will join costars Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright and Rupert Grint at the NY premiere.

Emma is expected to pursue a degree at an American Ivy League school this fall and is looking forward to the experience.

“I’m really excited, I can’t wait,” Emma said at the London premiere.

Emma Watson looks stunning in a silver patterned gown, even as she shields herself from the rain at the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London!

Emma recently revealed that she hated kissing costar Rupert Grint in the film.

“[It] was the most horrible thing I’ve ever had to do … it just felt like incest. That’s the only way I can describe it. It was fine that I was actually kissing him because I had my eyes closed so I could not think about the fact that it was him. The worst bit is when we had to open our eyes and look at each other because then I was just like, (laughs) and then we couldn’t keep going. But we did it in the end. Six takes — not bad. It could be worse.”

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see the film!

In the issue, on stands today, Emma talks about her future and decision to go to college. Check out this behind-the-scenes footage of her photo shoot and read some of her interview below!

“It’s going to sound dramatic, but I feel like it’s going to be my life over as I know it,” Emma reveals. “My whole life has been about and then all of that’s going to shut down and I don’t know what that will be like. I go to university in September – I’ll be doing bits and bobs at Christmas, but September feels like my cut off point, when I’ll really stop Harry Potter.”

Emma says it’s also important that she decides for herself who she wants to be. “I don’t want other people to decide who I am. I want to decide that for myself. I want to avoid becoming too styled and too ‘done’ and too generic. You see people as they go through their career and they just become more and more like everyone else. They start out with something individual about them but it gets lost. Natalie Portman is an exception. I’m in awe of how she’s handled herself.”

When it comes to her future Emma wants to take a step back and figure it all out, not rushing into anything. “I need university to give me that break. People think because I’m going to university I’m never going to act again, but it’s actually me… I want to… figure out how I feel about everything first. Maybe I’ll keep acting, maybe I won’t. I just want to find something where I feel I have to do this. Maybe that’ll happen when I read a script. It felt like that with Hermione [Granger]. I want to feel like that again.”

Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint were spotted filming ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows‘ Parts 1 & 2 in Whitehall and New Scotland Yard.

Emma recently talked to Times Online about filming, saying…

“It takes an hour to get ready every day. They call us at 7.30am,” Emma reveals! She also has extensions plaited into her backcombed light brown hair to give it Hermione Granger’s messy curls.

Emma is still thankful she was not forced to wear the buck teeth allotted to Hermione in the books. When she put them in, she couldn’t talk, and the director dumped them, along with Daniel’s green contact lenses, both too hard on the young stars. Emma still found her role a burden as well as a pleasure. “When I was little, I didn’t understand that other kids thought I actually was Hermione, really geeky. It was devastating. I thought no one would ever fancy me. And the costumes…”

Emma Watson looks stunning in these images from the August issue of Teen Vogue!

Teen Vogue chatted with Emma, who is currently currently promoting one Harry Potter movie, shooting another, and in pre-production on a third. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this tired in my life!” she says.

In the midst of filming, Emma plans to start college in the fall to study English Literature and art. The determined actress, who would like to live with a roommate in the freshman dorms, will not disclose where she is attending. “I probably sound like a paranoid nut, but I’m doing this because I want to be normal. I really want anonymity.”

Perhaps her decision to attend college is in part because she’s still not 100 percent sure that she wants to be a movie star. “There’s not a burning passion in me that I have to act and I don’t care what I do,” she admits. “Until something comes along that I feel as strongly about as I did Hermione—like, I felt that it was life or death—I don’t want to act again.”

The poised actress also has a strong interest in fashion and a notable personal style. A fan of brands like Chanel, Balenciaga, and Burberry, Emma is careful to make sure her outfits never look overdone. She explains: “There’s nothing interesting about looking perfect—you lose the point. You want what you’re wearing to say something about you, about who you are.”

Exclusive interview on location of the Burberry photo shoot with Emma Watson. Emma wears her trench coat with a Burberry Snood - the new ‘it’ accessory from the catwalks. The Autumn Winter 2009 campaign images shot by photographer Mario Testino in London next to Big Ben, are out in magazines from July.

“The person who is most excited that I was asked to do Burberry campaign is my grandma!” Emma reveals. “She’s been wearing Burberry since forever. It was one of the first things she bought for herself when my grandpa and she got married.”

Emma Watson recently chatted with Cineplex.com on the set of Harry Potter. She talks about growing up on set and her introduction to acting. And she reveals that she has been dating Jay Barrymore, a 27-year-old British businessman, for a year!

“It’s very peculiar looking back on [the films] and seeing how much I’ve changed and how much I’ve grown and what I looked like before all this happened,” Emma reveals. She even jokes, saying that she looked like a chipmunk in the first films!

But people identified with her growing up on film. “In a way, that’s what people really identify with. It makes it a real journey, a very real journey, because we literally are growing up with the characters.”

Emma, who is originally from Paris, France, hadn’t acted professionally before being cast as Hermione. She lived in Paris until she was five and then moved with her mother to England after her parents divorced.
