She writes, “Last time I wrote to you guys, I had been in Nashville for over 5 weeks. I went to LA for five or so days and then (you guessed it!) went right back to Nashville! During that second trip, I wrote songs with some of my very favorite Nashvillians, sang demos, and had tons of meetings. I also went to the Keith Urban and Friends All in the Hall Concert – which was INCREDIBLE! Every single performer was awesome – such a joy to watch. Then, to be able to talk to these ridiculously talented people and realize that they’re so kind is too cool!

Nashville is so amazing. If you haven’t been there, you’ve GOTTA go. The trees are so beautiful, they’re like a postcard! You’re surrounded by great music everywhere you go. And the coolest part of all? The people. Everyone in Nashville is so genuinely nice and they truly have this wonderful sense of community… I really can’t get enough of Nashville. If you take my advice and decide to take a little trip there, I’ll probably see ya!

“I saw the slime commercial on Nickelodeon yesterday! I think it came out awesomely! I forgot how smothered I got… and I loved it. Ahh.. The gooey slime makes for a good time. That rhyme was unintentional but came across as slightly witty so I decided to keep it. ha. Anyways, it was an amazing experience – and I say that with all honesty. I had wanted to be slimed since I was 5, watching Nick with my brothers! Now to be on that very network – getting slimed – is just… trippy. Maybe surreal’s a better word… yeah, surreal.

Jennette writes, “I am writing this Monday blog on my one-week anniversary of being here in the lovely City of Music – Nashville, Tennessee! I cannot describe what a fabulous time I’ve been having… but I can try…

Thursday was another two-writing-sessions day, plus I got to stop by Capitol in between for a meeting there! It was such a fantastic feeling, walking into that Capitol Records Nashville building… everyone is so friendly and fun.”

“Friday was filled with more songwriting, which is always a great experience and release of emotions. It’s like you find out more about yourself with each song you write.

On Saturday morning, I had another writing session (and let me just tell you, every session has been spent with incredibly gracious, warm, welcoming, and talented people), and then I went with the Capitol family to the Keith Urban concert at the Sommet Center! Sugarland performed, and they were SPLENDID! Very unique, inventive, and cool performers. And as for Keith Urban… well, he was mind-blowing!!! I don’t think I could ever get enough of his concerts. The goodness of his soul just shines through in every song. He gives SO MUCH LOVE and so much of himself to his audience. It’s intriguing to watch and compelling to feel. I saw him backstage before the concert, and seeing that one-of-a-kind smile and soulful eyes just filled me with hopes of being half as good as him someday – not only as a performer, but as a human being. He was just phenomenal. Just phenomenal. I wish I could properly convey how phenomenal he is, but it is not humanly possible in my Monday blog. To describe his phenomenal-ness is the kind of endeavor that would take a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday blog combined together into one jumbo-blog. Okay, you get the picture.”

Jennette writes, “I suppose I’ll start with yet another ‘thank you’! I’ve reached 100,000 twitter followers, 100,000 youtube subscribers, and 1,000,000 views on my ‘Home Sweet Home’ video. I am truly thankful for your support and kindness. I don’t mean to smother you with thank you’s, but really…. I kinda do. I don’t know if there’s some rule to saying ‘thank you’ a certain amount of times, but if there is, I’m sure I’ve broken it. I just feel the need to let you know that I’m thinking about you and appreciating you!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Okay I’m done for now….

… except that I have to say thank you for voting in the Teen Choice Awards! I was a little bummed to discover that it was the producers who ultimately made the decision – and not the fans – but it was still an honor to be nominated! I mean it… seriously. And a big congrats to all those who took home a surfboard! It was really cool that the iCarly’s gave one to Ellen DeGeneres.”

Jennette also recently revealed songs on her iPod! She says it includes tracks from artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Rob Thomas, Keith Urban, and the late Michael Jackson. She also has Tell Me Why by Taylor Swift and says, “The catchy beat and brilliant lyrics to this song get stuck in my mind for days every time I listen to it.“

The iCarly cutie writes, “Thank you all for your well-wishes regarding my signing with Capitol Records Nashville! I’m still amazed and ecstatic, on cloud 9. I appreciate you all joining in my excitement and sharing this crazy experience with me! Already, tons of work is being done. I will be sure to keep you posted about each new adventure.

I went to the Keith Urban concert at the Staples Center last week! I got to meet many wonderful members of the Capitol Nashville family. I got to meet and chat with Lady Antebellum, who put on a fabulous show! Hillary, Dave, and Charles were each so laid-back and fun! I was so pysched to meet them!!! As for Mr. Keith Urban’s concert… INCREDIBLE! PHENOMENAL! MIND-BLOWING! Keith Urban (who is an artist on the CAPITOL NASHVILLE label, I might add ) is a musical genius. The heart and soul he pours into his songs, his undeniable performance quality, his audience relatability… what a star. He holds back NOTHING. He gives one hundred thousand bajillion percent of himself to the audience. He is an utter inspiration to watch. I left his concert a different person than I was going in. Go Keith!!!!!”

“I’m boarding the Nickelodeon Cruise tomorrow! Woohoo! It should be a blast! My good friends Nathan Kress and Keke Palmer are gonna be aboard the ship as well, so hopefully we’ll have a great time together! Nathan and Keke are both SO MUCH FUN to be around, and their families are equally as awesome. Nathan and Keke have incredible parents and wonderful siblings!! YAY! There are several meet-and-greet sessions scheduled as well as a few photoshoots and even behind-the-scenes videos that will be shot during our interviews, autograph sessions, and excursions (ziplining, anyone?). The video shoots will be shown ON NICKELODEON sometime in the near future, which is fantastic, because you’ll feel like you’re going on the excursions -and interviews and autograph sessions- with us!! We’re even going to be a part of the welcome- and farewell-shows… so it’s definitely a jam-packed cruise. I hope some of you reading this blog will be on the ship with me! Be sure to say hello! I can’t wait to meet you!!!”
