The Jonas Brothers announced that they had to cancel their Zurich concert due to Nick coming down with a respiratory infection. They announced the news on Twitter, saying:
We are sad to announce the cancellation of the Jonas Brothers concert for this evening in Zurich. Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is ill with an upper respiratory infection of the nose and throat and the doctor has advised that he not speak or sing. The Jonas Brothers paid a special tribute to Michael Jackson during the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards yesterday.

“This year we saw the lost of the greatest pop musician,” Nick says. “His unrivaled musical talent has reshaped our musical landscape, influencing artists old and young.”
“The first time we heard Michael’s voice was when our dad would play the Jackson Five, I’ll Be There,” Joe continues.
The brothers say they were inspired by Michael and his brothers, who came together to influence music and express talent to the world.

Earlier today Parade.com spilled news that Denise Jonas (mother to the Jonas Brothers) revealed Nick Jonas is working on a solo act!
“Nick is working on a solo act–it’s called Nick Jonas and The Administration. Shhh! He’s at the photo shoot for the album cover right now,” Denise told Parade.com.
Of course this led to fans freaking out – wondering if the group was breaking up. That’s not the case. The Nick, Joe, and Kevin took to MySpace to clear up the rumors.

Remember the news about the Jonas Brothers going on a 12 Days of Christmas Tour?
It was fake! Live Nation put up the tour dates a couple of weeks ago but the Jonas Brothers countered saying, “It has come to our attention that dates for a possible December concert tour somehow found their way onto the internet. Due to scheduling issues we’re sorry to inform you that this won’t be possible. We look forward to a wonderful touring season in 2010.”

The Jonas Brothers have a new video contest to promote their What Did I Do To Your Heart contest!

“We just want to say hi, and tell you about some very exciting things that we have going on,” Nick says.
“Absolutely,” Kevin continues. “We’ve seen a bunch of videos dancing to What Did I Do To Your Heart.”
So they have an idea for a new contest where you make a video of you dancing to the song! There will be three winners. To enter, make a video, upload it and submit the video to YouTube.com/JBHeartVideo.

Nick and Joe Jonas were spotted outside their hotel in Toronto yesterday afternoon, surrounded by fans. The brothers are in town to film Camp Rock 2!

Meanwhile, big brother Kevin has finally decided who his best man is. “They both are [my best man],” Kevin revealed in a radio interview with Canada’s Hot 89.9FM Radio.
“[Deleasa] actually has two sisters, kind of the same age as well. It works out really well because there are two maids of honor and two best men.”
