Mitchel Musso recently chatted with TWIST Magazine about his take on Miley Cyrus‘ love life.

Things have been so confusing lately. Nick Jonas was spotted in Georgia last week where he and Miley went jet skiing, and then it was confirmed that Miley and Justin Gaston had ended their relationship.

So TWIST went to Miley’s good friend Mitchel, and here was his response … “Is this about Nick? Everybody keeps asking me about it! I still don’t get it because she was literally just talking about Justin the other day at The Grove. I think it was a week and a half ago when we played a show together. I don’t know. I guess things move really fast for them!”

Mitchel will be releasing his self-titled debut album on June 2. His debut single, The In Crowd, a cover of a John Hampson song, premiered on Radio Disney on December 5, 2008. His second single, Hey!, is slated to be released soon accompanied with a recently filmed music video.

Music has played a big part in Mitche’s life. His older brother, Mason (from the band Metro Station), has been a constant influence in his life.

“Mason is always there for me,” Mitchel told MTV. “He’s my role model for music.”

When he’s not busy on the set of Hannah Montana, Mitchel is involved with music in some way! “I’m either in the studio [or] hanging out with my friends. I like driving my car. If you’re 17, you know exactly what I like to do.“
