Alex Pettyfer reveals, “Kyle is obsessed with his own vanity and can’t see the beauty of life, so he’s not a very nice guy.”

In the film, Alex’s character, Kyle, is cursed and transformed into everything he despises. “There’s a real undertone message of you need to love yourself before you love others.”

The show follows Dylan (Grabeel) – who is crazy about his beautiful neighbor Sara (Slade), and she likes him, too. But a nasty bat bite on a camping trip has changed Dylan in ways he never expected … he sprouts fangs and the smell of O Positive suddenly drives him wild. It’s true — Dylan is becoming a vampire! Terrified, he sings about his fear of becoming a monster who must kill to survive. Dylan doesn’t know what to do or how to tell Sara, and hiding it is getting harder and harder, especially since when she’s around, all he can think about is biting her delectable neck. His evasions frustrate a confused Sara, and since this is a musical they’re both driven to sing about their feelings.

Sexy vampire Trey (Seeley) revels in being one of the living dead, complete with a harem of dancing vampire groupies. Trey can’t stand Dylan’s misery so he decides to show the budding vamp how to take a bite out of his new life with style. His seductive song urges Dylan to spread his wings and taste the delights of all kinds of girls, really “go for the throat”. Dylan refuses and panics when Trey gets too close to Sara, but he can’t stop the vamp from mesmerizing her into going to a hot vampire party. Desperate to keep the girl he loves safe, Dylan goes along — but can he save Sara’s life? Or at least find a way to kiss her without draining her dry?

Broken Hill follows Tommy, born and raised on a rocky, drought-ridden sheep station in the middle of the Australian Outback. He works at the station and does all he can to appease his demanding father but in his heart wants to be a great musician. That all changes when Tommy meets his new class mate Kat, a bold and brash beauty, who at first doesn’t notice him at all. As Tommy tries desperately to get her attention his antics cause him to fall into hot water with the local police. He luckily escapes jail and chooses to do community service at the nearby prison to stay out of trouble. Soon the stakes for Tommy are raised when his music teacher and mentor lands him an audition for the elite music con servatorium. Against all odds, Tommy gains the affections of Kat, finds a way to reconcile with his father and conducts the concert of his life.

After a defense attorney manipulates the law to his clients’ advantage, the criminals are set free, much to the disgust of Officer John Dromoor, who seeks revenge.

It sounds like a pretty dark and serious movie, but I’m positive Abigail will do an amazing job! You can check out the official website too.

First, Quinn can be seen in THE HOLE, directed by Joe Dante and starring Nathan Gamble and Haley Bennett screening on September 12, 2009.  Then, on September 18th, he can be seen in the highly anticipated THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS, directed by Terry Gilliam.         
 
Quinn shares, “I really loved playing my character in ‘The Hole;’ it’s totally opposite to who I really am, so it was a challenging role, but crazy, fun and a challenge.  It’s pretty cool that it is in 3-D and a thrilling family film like one of my favorites, ‘The Goonies!’  I am so excited to have two different films at the film festival, and I am really looking forward to seeing them both.”
 
Even though he’s only ten-years-old, Quinn has appeared in over twenty-five film and television productions including roles in Blade, Stargate SG-1, and Supernatural! He has also appeared in over twenty-five national and international commercials. Quinn was also nominated for a Young Artist Award in 2008 for his recurring role in Smallville.  

Look for more of Quinn, I’m sure we’ll be seeing him in lots of films in the future!

The horror comedy follows two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) is a big wuss — but when you’re afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you alive. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) is an AK-toting, zombie-slaying’ bad ass whose single determination is to get the last Twinkie on earth. As they join forces with Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail), who have also found unique ways to survive the zombie mayhem, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.

The film follows a longtime thief who tries to balance his feelings for a bank manager connected to one of his earlier heists, as well as the FBI agent looking to bring him and his crew down.

Dakota would play the lead in a follow-up to the classic 1939 movie that shot Judy Garland to fame.

The film’s producer, Basil Iwanyk, says, “It will be set in the present day and feature Dorothy’s granddaughter.”

Co-producer Todd McFarlane adds, “You’ve still got Dorothy trapped in an odd place, but she’s much closer to the Ripley character from Alien than a helpless singing girl.”

Film industry insiders told TransWorld News on Thursday that “Miley sees this as a transition from teen stardom to more adult roles. We’re all wondering how long it will take Kim to have Miley knocking back Cosmos and ogling all the men. Seriously though, all the girls are excited to have Miley on board.”

Last year Miley was supposedly going to be in a prequel of the series, in the starring role of Carrie. That obviously didn’t happen, so who knows about this one!

Joe will be playing a character in the film that also stars his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift!

The film also has an amazing cast including Julia Roberts, Taylor Lautner and Emma Roberts.

It would have been interesting to see him interact with the Taylors during their track and field scene last month!

The film, about intertwining couples and singles living in Los Angeles, started shooting about three weeks ago and is scheduled to wrap in October.

E!Online is not sure when Joe will be able to shoot the movie, because the current Jonas Brothers tour has him on the road until at least Thanksgiving.
