Zac Efron Chats ‘17 Again’ Music

17 Again costars Zac Efron and Thomas Lennon talk about the official soundtrack to their new flick. “There’s actually some really good songs!” Zac says.

“It is amazing how all the music in your life kind of blends together,” Zac reveals. He says that Bust A Move is definitely going to come back! It’s an “amazing song that I think should catch on again. I think it deserves to because it was stuck in my head forever; since we started the movie.“

‘17 Again’ Red Carpet Arrivals!

The LA premiere of 17 Again, in Los Angeles last night, saw celebs both young and younger walk the red carpet! The special screening for the soon-to-be-releaed comedy was held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Zac Efron, Michelle Trachtenberg, Vanessa Hudgens, Shailene Woodley, Aly & AJ Michalka, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, and even the Jonas Brothers were in attendance! 17 Again follows Matthew Perry, a guy whose life didn’t quite turn out how he wanted it to. He wishes he could go back to high school and change it. He wakes up one day (Zac Efron) and is seventeen again and gets the chance to rewrite his life. The movie opens in theaters this Friday!

Zac Efron ‘I Was Pretty Cool Until About Freshman Year’

Zac Efron recently sat down to chat with TeenHollywood.com about his new movie, 17 Again.

Zac says that if he were to go back in time, like his character, he would definitely go down this same path. “This is like the best job in the world. I’m having the time of my life. I wake up every day with a new challenge whether it’s filming, learning a new skill set, interviews, press, that kind of stuff. It’s always fun. It’s always interesting. It’s always a challenge. I’m very happy with that and I’m very happy with my life right now.”

He reveals that if he had to give himself one piece of advice “I’d probably go back and tell myself to chill out. This is just the beginning and get ready because stuff’s about to pop off.”

As for a time in his life when Zac was a nerd, he says that it was definitely freshman year. “I was pretty cool until about freshman year of high school and then it was downhill until I was about 17 and then something happened and it all came back. But that was pretty much the time that I was just average. I worked hard in school, got good grades. I was not that cool, so to speak. I mean, I thought I was cool.”

Catch Matthew Perry as he decides he wants to go back to high school and gets sucked through the time warp! It’s the first time he realizes he’s young.

In the movie Zac Efron plays the young version of Mike O’Donnell, a a guy whose life didn’t quite turn out how he wanted it to. He wishes he could go back to high school and change it – and he does just that!
