The class rocks out to a choreographed dance, set to Burning Up by the Jonas Brothers. I’m amazed at some of the talent there!

Nolan Gerard Funk shares his favorite Valentine’s Day plans with Popstar!!

The Spectacular hunk first says that his ideal date would be “going for a picnic on the beach at night and watching the sunset.”

In a later clip Nolan says his dream trip would be “taking a trip to Paris.”

Simon Curtis and Victoria Justice remake the hit song The Things We Do For Love for the upcoming Nickelodeon film, Spectacular. What do you think?

In the film, which airs on February 16th on Nickelodeon, a high school choir is fading in popularity, as it continues to lose most of its’ members one by one. A wannabe rock singer is convinced to join the choir, in hopes of winning the upcoming competition and cash prize. Victoria plays the role of Tammi and Simon plays Royce.

Simon writes that they “got together tonight to preview a bit of the soundtrack for you and reminisce and give commentary and such. Nolan Gerard Funk has quite the year ahead of him! He’ll be starring as hunky Nikko Alexander in the Nickelodeon film, Spectacular! He also has roles in three movies: The Wilderness Family, Malevolence: Bereavement, and Triple Dog – all to be released in 2009.

Nolan was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1986. Along with acting, he is a national gymnast and diver, AND he speaks fluent French (check out the video above!)

He is also an avid environmentalist and grew up speaking about Freud and Jung with his dad, who is a psychologist.

Nolan has had roles on television shows and movies for over seven years and he recently played the love interest in Miranda Cosgrove’s music video for Stay My Baby! But I think Spectacular will be the role that launches him most into the public eye.

Here’s the synopsis for Spectacular: Nikko (Nolan Gerard Funk) is the next rock superstar and he plans to conquer the world with his band, Alloy. Courtney’s (Tammin Sursok) world revolves around her sequin-filled show choir, Spectacular. But when Alloy kicks Nikko out of the band and Spectacular loses their best male singer to a rival choir, Courtney convinces Nikko to join the choir group. Will Nikko be the force that Spectacular needs to finally beat their rival choir, Ta-Da? Or will Nikko’s rock style be much for the glittery world of the show choirs?
