Drew Seeley ‘Another Cinderella Story’ Q&A!

Another Cinderella Story will make it’s television debut thus Sunday at 8:00 PM on ABC Family!! Drew Seeley, who played the love interest of Selena Gomez in the movie, sat down this afternoon for a Q&A session about his role, doing the film, and the industry in general!
“It’s a lot of fun. It’s a really fun movie,” Drew says. He makes sure to emphasize that it is not the same movie as Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff.
When asked why he wanted to do this movie, Drew says “I love to act, sing and dance. So the project came along where I got the opportunity came to do all three at once! And even get to write.” He co-wrote a lot of music for the film and says it was a lot of fun.
He prepared for the film by dancing a lot with Selena. “We had a lot of rehearsals, like two weeks of intense rehearsals right before we started shooting,” Drew says. And as for the age difference between Drew and Selena, Drew says that it was never really an issue. “I just hope everybody enjoys seeing the movie as much as we enjoyed making it.”
Drew’s most memorable moment when filming Another Cinderella Story was, “a lot of my family lives in Vancouver so I had three of my little cousins and my aunt be extras in the movie!”
Drew is known as a triple-threat since he can sing, dance and act. But does he have a favorite of the three? “It kind of changes every day,” he says. “I started dancing before anything else when I was seven. Then did my first play in Showboat in Toronto when I was seven. Then the last thing that came was my singing. I love doing all of them.”
And what’s up next for Drew? Well he was actually in the recording studio, just finishing up five hours of working on a song, when he got on the call! He’s also starring in a thriller coming out this spring, The Shortcut. And he says he’d definitely be up for making a guest appearance on Wizards of Waverly Place. “Give me a call and we’ll make it happen!”
Another Cinderella Story brings the traditional fairy tale to present-day Beverly Hills, where Mary, a humble yet sweet servant girl, dreams of being a world-class dancer but her evil step-mother and step-sisters attempt to keep her off the dance floor. Joey Parker, pop’s Prince Charming, returns to town and Mary and Joey share an unexpected encounter at the school’s masked Black & White Ball. Mary flees the ball, leaving her MP3 player at the scene. Joey starts his search for his princess and Mary’s step-sisters attempt to sabotage her happily-ever-after!

I love Drew Seeley… his voice is amazing, and it’s so awesome to see him in the leading role for once and not providing someone else’s singing voice! I haven’t bought the DVD, so I’m really psyched to see it on abc family on Sunday, it’s awesome they’re showing it on TV.

I love Drew Seeley. He’s cute, he can sing, dance and act. I think he is very lucky. I’m glad they put him as one of the leading roles in the movie. I loved it so much I went to try and get the DVD the next day but they didn’t have it. I’m also trying to get Drew Seeley’s CD. People don’t hear about him much. Now they do!
