Episode 27 – Me and Rico Down by the School Yard

Miley and the gang start high school, and when Rico (who is also starting high school, as he skipped a couple of grades) learns Miley’s “big secret”, she has to pose as his girlfriend. Meanwhile, Jackson’s new friend, Thor (which was also the name of Lilly/Lola’s dog in “Miley Get Your Gum”), causes him major humiliation. In the end Rico’s secret about Miley was a lot different then they thought.
Episode 28 – Cuffs Will Keep Us Together

After Lilly fails to pick Miley for her flag football team in gym, and so they start fighting, Oliver handcuffs the two together, and then loses the key. Meanwhile, Jackson tries to get Robbie to stop ignoring him.
Episode 29 – You Are So Sue-able To Me

Lilly gets asked out to the dance by a boy she really likes, but Miley thinks she acts to much like a boy, so she gives her a make-over.But when Lilly gets stood up, they take it to Teen Court; Jackson wins two tickets to the Lakers game, but doesn’t know who to take, his dad or his friend Thor.

Episode 31 – I Am Hannah Hear Me Croak

Miley loses her voice, and it affects her career as Hannah Montana. She is told she will need surgery if she wants to sing again and she’s really scared. Miley’s mom who died years ago re-assures her, in a dream, that the surgery will be fine.

Miley and Jackson attempt to sneak out when Robby grounds them on a night when they both have big plans.
Episode 33 – My Best Friend’s Boyfriend

Miley sees Lilly’s new boyfriend Lucas making out with another girl and plans to make Lucas like Hannah, just to prove to Lilly what a lousy boyfriend he is. Rico invents a new security system for the shack, much to Jackson’s dismay.
Episode 34– Take This Job and Love It

Hannah volunteers Roxy to work for the president after she ruins Hannah’s date with Jeremy. Roxy saves the president from getting food poisoned from sushi backstage a Hannah Montana concert. Jackson pretends to be a professional motocross racer to impress a girl.
Episode 35 & 36- Achy Jakey Heart

Jake comes back from Romania to try and romance Miley back into his life, but Miley has moved on. Jake accidentally spills on the red carpet that he is in love with Miley. Miley and Jake get together. After Jake tells Miley his deepest secret, Miley feels guilty and tells him the truth: that she is really Hannah Montana. Jackson and Oliver create a successful business, making Rico jealous. Miley hates going on dates with Jake while fans gawk at the couple. Jake decides to try to be “normal”, but the date is a disaster. Miley realizes that there’s nothing more to Jake Ryan than his movie star ego. Meanwhile, Jackson and Oliver continue their business, until they discover they only made one dollar in profit. *
Episode 37 – Sleepwalk This Way

Miley cannot bring herself to admit to Robby that she does not like one of the songs he has written.
Episode 38 – When You Wish You Were the Star

Miley wishes on a shooting star that she could be Hannah all the time. Her wish comes true. But she realizes that she misses being Miley, even though it does come with perks like dating a superstar Jesse McCartney. Jackson moved out and became a hobo, Lilly is one of the popular girls, and Oliver and Rico become rapping salesmen. When Hannah sees another shooting star she wishes to have her old life back.
Episode 39 – I Want You to Want Me… To Go to Florida

An injured Robby is unable to travel and opts to cancel Hannah’s out-of-state charity performance.
Episode 40 – Everybody Was Best-Friend Fighting

Miley has to choose between Oliver and Lilly to go to a celebrity tennis tournament with her. Thanks to Rico, she is able to take both of them but it turns out that she should not have brought them. Jackson tricks Rico into thinking he is cursed because he paid a psychic to tell him he was an evil boy and to make him think that he was cursed so he’ll give him a few Saturdays off.
Episode 41 – Song Sung Bad

Lilly records a song as a gift for her mom. However, she is not a good singer so Miley edits it to try to make it sound better, without telling Lilly. When Lilly hears it, she comes to believe that she is a great singer and agrees to compete against Amber in Karaoke Night at school. Then Miley tells Lilly the truth and shows Lilly the original tape. Then the two devise a plan to beat Amber by making Lilly lip-sing a song with Miley singing it in another room. Unfortunately, Miley let out a spider on accident and it crawled up her arm which freaked her out so she started screaming while Lilly was still moving her mouth to the words of the song. Meanwhile Jackson has to deal with Sarah (Morgan York) when she thinks he likes her. But it was really Rico who liked her.

After noticing sparks between their parents at a PTA meeting, Miley and Lilly try everything to get Robbie and Lilly’s mom Heather together so that they can become sisters.

Miley is being awarded Female Artist of the Year and has invited the two most influential women in her life to be there when she accepts it. The only problem is that these women Mamaw and Aunt Dolly – have been feuding for years and can’t stand each other. It’s up to Miley to show them how ridiculous they look always bickering with each other.

Episode 47 – The Way We Almost Weren’t

Miley nearly gets struck by lightning and dreams about when her mom and dad first met at a diner she is visiting with her dad and Jackson. In her dream her parents almost don’t meet which means they would not have been born and Jackson starts to disappear. Miley eventually gets her parents to talk to each other and they suddenly fall in love. Lilly and Oliver get stuck to chairs, and they try to find a way to get them off.
Episode 48 – Bye Bye Ball

Bye Bye Ball’ Miley tracks down former *Baseball Star Joey Vitolo (Joey Fatone) in hopes of getting his signature after accidentally ruining Jackson’s autographed collector’s ball. Joey dupes Hannah into singing a duet with him in exchange for the signature.
