Jake Thomas and the HSM3 Interview!

Jake Thomas is hoping to land a role in the much-anticipated movie, High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
Jake is perfect for the role, having starred in Cory in the House and also the Steven Spielberg movie “A.I.”
“Yesterday was a first for me,” he tells the Insider. “It was the first time I had to sing for an audition. It was an interesting challenge for me, but I think I was up for it.”
Since Zac Efron will be done with the High School Musical franchise after this movie, it leaves Jake open to filling the lead male role for any future films.
“The character I am auditioning for would take over Zac Efron’s (function). He would be the new star basketball player at the school,” he says.
Although Jake can sing, he doesn’t consider himself much of a dancer.
So what do you think, can Jake fill Zac’s shoes?

No HSM thing would be the same without one of them…whether it’s Kaycee Stroh, Lucas Grabeel or Zac Efron. Gotta admit it right?
