Misty May-Treanor to Appear on ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’

As if winning another Olympic gold medal for volleyball super star Misty May-Treanor wasn’t enough, she is set to make an appearance on the hit Disney Channel show "Wizards of Waverly Place". I am SO excited about this! I watched every one of her and Kerri Walsh’s matches during the Olympics, so you could say I am a huge fan.

According to People, she will play herself in an upcoming WOWP episode. She will drop in on Max, played by Jake T. Austin, when she hears that he has a "mysterious ailment" that is affecting him.

"Since my return from Beijing I’ve had opportunities to be involved with fun projects outside of beach volleyball," she said. "I can’t wait to meet the cast and be part of such a creative show."

The episode will be taped on September 9th. You can also catch Treanor on the next season of Dancing with the Stars. She’ll be competing alongside Hannah Montana’s Cody Linley.
