Selena Gomez on Crushes and First Dates!

Selena Gomez chatted with BOP! about how she deals with her crushes and her guy friends.

“I don’t have a boyfriend right now, but maybe next year I’ll have one,” Selena says. “My biggest concern about relationships is my schedule. I’m focused on work and school, and sometimes guys will not understand that. I’m definitely a guys’ girl, though. Back in Texas, where I’m from, I hung out with a lot of guy friends. When I’m around my crush, I get nervous.”

Selena has her telltale signs of crushing on a guy. “I tend to look around a lot. I’ll look down and then around, and maybe just kind of ramble on.” Too cute!

She also shares her dating tips. “My tip for a first date is to be yourself and talk to your date. You have to get to know each other. I don’t think movies are a good idea for the first few dates. It’s better to talk and listen to each other.”
