Selena Gomez – Rumor Had Her in Tears

Selena Gomez said that she was looking forward to her summer vacation when she found out that there were rumors flying around about her at school.
“I heard the craziest things about myself,” Selena tells BOP! Magazine. “I was told that I yelled at a friend, and also that I intentionally tripped someone.”
Of course the stories weren’t true so Selena felt betrayed. “It was so much drama.”
So how did Selena cope? She confronted the backstabbers. “I was confident and I walked up to them and asked them to stop,” Selena says. “When that happens, don’t look at it like you’ve lost a friend. It’s a blessing in disguise, because you don’t need a friend who spread rumors about you.”

But rumors about yelling at a friend and tripping someone up are not that big a deal, sorry. I woulsnt get upset about them, they’re not big enough rumors to get me upset.
but becky..it’s still not right..even though i’m not a big fan of selena (but i’m a fan actually..just not big lol!) i can still say that it’s not right..they are definitely jealous of selena..because she’s famous right now..i hate backstabbers..so i’m with her..she’s not being o.a.
and she’s 15..i have a cousin..she’s also 15..they are still sensitive when it comes to backstabbing friends…

Rumors are really bad even if they are small. Selane got hurt and cried. She shold froget about her friend and be friens with somone else. I go with whatever.
I don’t agree with you guys.. I see how those rumors hurt her and made her cry.. I’ve been through the same thing.. What you guys aren’t understanding is she seems like a really sweet girl.. And by her so called friend saying that stuff about her it makes her look mean when she really isn’t.. Its hard and yeah people handle things differently.. I bet she cried about it because people were getting the wrong opinion about her.. Would you want someone to think your not nice.. I wouldn’t.. So who cares that she cried about something that doesn’t seem so big.. It may not look as bad when your just reading it.. But if you’ve been through it is really hard.. At the same time your loosing a friend and maybe her and her friend were close.. We don’t know. But still don’t say she shouldn’t of cried over it.. Selena you are awesome!! Keep up the good work.. I think that the title on the article is wrong. ‘Rumor had her in tears”. I think it should be more like “Losing friends” instead of rumor.
I don’t think that that type of rumor would make Selena cry. Maybe something worse. I think it was more losing her friend.
i totally feel bad for selena but im on all of u guys side i think just the drama of every thing got to her but is all said and done so drop it shes fine shes not bleeding is she i feel bad but its not like her bf cheated on her or sumtin
i agree with Becky.
But i also understand the other points of view.
people take in drama in different ways, some are prone to rumors, & could care less what people say or think of them, and others are extremely sensitive to even the slightest rumor, no matter what the magnitude is.
but whatever the reason may be, for her getting upset about this,
whether it made her upset that her friend would do that, the rumor itself, or maybe there was more going on that we don’t know about, but it still hurt her & she had every reason to be.

for her birthday i drew her on a piece of paper and colored it. its the same picture i have on my curtains. that way she’ll no we all love no matter wat happens

okay,l already undergo the process of being backstabbed but l didn’t got the chance to confront them so l’m proud of Selena.Becky has a point but Selena didn’t cry because of the rumors she cried because she lose a friend .lt doesn’t matter how simple the rumors are,what matters is that her friend end up being a bad person.But to think of what l’ve been through with my friends (they are 6-7 friends of mine) who backstabbed me everyday at school l felt being torture.l don’t care about the rumors what l care about is that the memories me and my friends shared faded.I’m sorry to tell a story about my experience l just want you to know rumors are rumors friends are friends.
I agree with “a girl”. How can anyone say she’s so sweet and nice? None of you even know her personally. I’m not saying she is a horrible person by any means, but being in Disney and also American, there’s a big deal over there about being perfect and innocent, so she’s probably worried her reputation would be ruined by anything bad about her. I hate Miley Cyrus and allll the Disney actors. For the loseeee.

Guys, even though that was a small rumor, it’s not right. And because if the paparazzi heard that, they would think Selena is not a good role model, and she doesn’t want that. I wouldn’t feel good either. And some people are more sensitive than others. It’s not about you Becky, it’s about how Selena would feel, not how you would.
