Miley Cyrus is set to take over someone’s house for New Year’s Eve! FNMTV Presents: A Miley-Sized Surprise…New Year’s Eve 2009 will air live at 8;00 ET/PT and will have live performances from Miley, Metro Station, All Time Low, The Academy Is … and Kevin Rudolf. Miley will be performing from the house of a lucky fan, someone who spent 2008 helping to better the lives of others.

After Miley surprises the lucky fan by showing up on her doorstep, they’ll spend the day hanging out together and will conduct activities for the fan’s favorite charity. Throughout the day Miley will give her gifts and treats!!

In addition, MTV and Pepsi will end 2008 by allowing people to participate in a live text-to-screen dialogue about how they plan to refresh themselves and the world in 2009. Fans who are celebrating in Times Square can text NYE to 66333 to submit their text messages, which may appear on MTV’s HD Times Square Screen! TV viewers can text CHANGE to 66333 for the chance to have their comments appear on a crawl at the bottom of the television program throughout MTV’s New Year’s Eve shows.
