Ashley Tisdale was spotted leaving her house in Toluca Lake wearing a baggy shirt and skirt yesterday. Her hair looks so healthy!

In other news, Ashley is among the many celebrities to offer kind words following Michael Jackson’s death - saying that he was a major influence.

“I’ve loved Michael Jackson, his music, his music videos,” Ashley revealed. “I mean, the man made music videos what they are today. So, I’ve always been inspired by him. I think he’s such a great dancer.”

Ashley Tisdale performed a free concert at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon!

The High School Musical starlet performed for hundreds of fans who showed up to view the concert.

Ashley was very excited about the show, even talking about it on Twitter! “Morning!!!! So excited for the Grove show today! Aaahhh!!!!! So proud of my band!!! I love you guys! AOL sessions rocked.”

Ashley Tisdale sings Guilty Pleasure off her album of the same name!

Ashley is featured on the latest issue of OK Magazine and reveals that it’s important to have girlfriends. “Because guys tend to come and go.. I hang out with Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens a lot and watch chick flicks and I listen to music like Pink’s ‘So What’ and Britney Spears’ ‘Out From Under.’”

As for future costars, Ashley reveals that “I’m a big fan of Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn and Cameron Diaz. They’re strong, independent women who don’t hold back. I’d love to work with them.”

And on the obsession to be thin, Ashley says she doesn’t like it. “I’ve been very skinny my whole life.. I don’t really like this look. I like curves, I think that’s more beautiful.. I look at Jessica Alba and think she’s got a great body. I think that’s what women are supposed to look like.”

Ashley Tisdale dropped in on a school on Friday for a surprise concert!

After the final school bell rang for the day, students at Steck Elementary in Aurora, Illinois were in for a big surprise. They walked outside to see a giant white tent and a stage had been erected on the playground for a special afterschool show.

The excited pupils began screaming as Ashley took the stage! Even kids from nearby high schools were spotted lining up outside barricades as they tried to get a glimpse of the star.

Envious teen Amanda MCDonough said, “Of course we’re fans. We’ve got her music in my iPod. But my brother, he’s lucky, he gets to be in there.”

Ashley Tisdale introduces her band to her fans!

Ashley is also featured on the cover of the July issue of UK’s Sugar magazine.

In the article Ashley chats about her upcoming album and having to leave behind her HSM character, Sharpay. “People only know me as my character [Sharpay]. So I’ve changed my hair and brought out the edgier me that I’ve never had the chance to express. I’m not trying to run away from HSM but I am growing up.“

Ashley Tisdale performs Masquerade at the KISS 2009 concert on Sunday night in Boston, Mass.

The singer/starlet performed three songs from her upcoming album, Guilty Pleasure. Fans were supposed to catch all three songs but the feed got cut and they only saw Masquerade.

What do you think of her performance? I’m usually a huge fan of Ashley, but I thought she sounded kind of nasally and out of breath.
