In a recent interview Ashley said “Entering the Disney Channel really made my career what it is. Before that, I was guest starring on shows, and I was shooting pilots that weren’t going anywhere. I remember doing three pilots, three years in a row and not one got picked up. I thought, ‘Man, maybe I should be doing something else.’”

Love Drunk is the title track of Boys Like Girls‘ soon-to-be-released second studio album of the same name. It is slated for a September 8 U.S. release.

Ashley talked to MTV about the video, saying “I think it’s very the cute-girl, jeans-shorts kind of beachy-casual, but nice. Those are the things we went through. I used to smoke out my eyes and be rocker, so for this I toned it down.”

“I’ve loved Michael Jackson, his music, his music videos,” Ashley revealed. “I mean, the man made music videos what they are today. So, I’ve always been inspired by him. I think he’s such a great dancer.”

There are several pictures of Ashley, from a toddler to graduating from Valencia High School in Southern California in 2003.

An adorable smiling little Ashley looks cute in her dance costume!
