Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were spotted driving to the studio together yesterday afternoon!

The New Moon co-stars are rehearsing their roles for their upcoming film, The Runaways and it sounds like the duo is hitting it off rather nicely!

Kristen even took Dakota to The Roxy for a Nylon party earlier this week.

Paparazzi on the scene say that Dakota “saw the cameras outside and ran back inside, only to emerge a few minutes later from another door. Dakota ducked into Kristen’s Mini Cooper, and the two drove off—Kristen dropped Dakota off at her house, and then drove to her pad and called it a night.”

The trio was taking a break from filming New Moon and even snapped a couple pictures of their own before signing autographs for awaiting fans.

Dakota Fanning has said it was fun shooting an onscreen romance in The Secret Life Of Bees, but it was a lot more serious based on the time setting.

“It was new and very different. Lily falls for this black boy at a time when that wasn’t really accepted at all, so that is fascinating and really great.”

She reveals that she and Tristan Wilds (who plays Zach) had a great relationship off screen.

“Lily and Zach are falling for each other, experiencing those emotions for the first time and at the same time Tristan and I have a great relationship, a great friendship. It’s definitely new for me to have a romantic aspect to a role, but fun, there’s always a first time for everything,” she said.

Dakota reveals that her onscreen relationship was more serious. “Especially because it’s the early 60s, a time of racial unrest, and the young man is black. This one was also more of a real relationship than I have had before in films.”

Kristen Stewart says that she is a big fan of Dakota Fanning and looks forward to working with her!

“Yeah. I mean, yes, absolutely,” she tells The Dish Rag. “She’s like … you know, I’ve always loved what she’s done and she’s very … like controlled and poised … ummm and then like in terms of her actual work that she makes, it’s like always so different and she’s gonna rock this … I mean she … Talk about a bandit, she’s going to have to lose herself in this because it’s really like – it’s pretty heavy.”

Kristen also chatted with TeenHollywood and says that Taylor Lautner is buff! “That’s so important. But he’s so good and unless we had a counterpart that was going to briefly outshine what was so great in the first one, it’s like that will be a feat and I think he’s got it. I can’t wait to see how he is able to pull her out of what he does (Bella’s depression).”
