David Archuleta updated his official blog to say that he’s not feeling very well and settled in to watch the Michael Jackson memorial.

The American Idol runner up writes, “So I was planning on doing a video blog for this week, but I haven’t been feeling too well at all for the last couple of days … I’m already feeling a whole lot better than yesterday though! We had our drive from Oklahoma to Arizona that day. I spent 24 hours on our bus, because even though we finally got to the hotel I was feeling too sick to move lol. But things are well! I’ve been sleeping, resting, sleeping and resting like crazy. Thanks for all of your concerns and thoughts! I’ve really appreciated it. I’m hoping to be in good shape for all of you coming to the Arizona show tomorrow!”

And while he was sick, David tuned in to watch the Michael Jackson memorial. “I was really touched by all the performances and the things that were said by his friends that spoke. It was a really emotional memorial. It really got me when his daughter spoke at the end, and my thoughts and prayers go out to them! I hope we can all keep them in our prayers, and give them the space and respect they deserve and need right now. Their dad went through a lot, but he did his best to keep his kids away from all that craziness because he cared about them and knew what it did to people. But despite all the things that Michael dealt with and everyone looking down on him, now that he’s gone it’s amazing to see how everyone has remembered all the things he’s done in his life that have influenced so many people. The way he’s reached out to sooo many that were in need and in poverty, and then in the way he touched people with his music. All I can say is thanks to him, not only for how inspiring he was to me basically throughout my entire life lol, but for his contributions to music and to the world.”

David Archuleta updated his official blog from Connecticut to chat about a story in Utah where he was locked outside in his pajamas!!

First David talks about working on a Christmas album. “For the last few days before I came to Connecticut for rehearsals, I was in LA recording for the Christmas album that’s coming out this year! I’m really really excited for that because I love Christmas music and Christmas times. I was also working on some material for the next pop album as well. It’s gonna be crazy working on all the stuff this Summer along with the tour, but I’m sooo excited you guys!”

Next he thanks everyone for his Teen Choice Awards nominations. “Today I found out that I was nominated for 3 teen choice awards! One for breakout artist, one for love song, and one for tour (with Demi Lovato.) Thanks you guys for giving your voice and helping me have the opportunity! David Archuleta updates fans after his Manila show last week!

David says, “Just seeing all the people there was so incredible. I couldn’t believe how many people came to see the show. Just wanted to say thank you to all the fans that came.”

He reveals that it’s been a great time and thanks all the international fans, the Archies, the Snarky Archies, and the Arch-Angels!

He also writes that he is headed “back to the states after the international traveling. Will be nice to go home, but can’t wait to go back out and see all the different places! I apologize as always for not being able to get a straight sentence out.“

David Archuleta updated his MySpace Page to talk about being in the UK and everything he’s doing overseas!

“Hey guys, I haven’t done a written blog for a while, so I decided to do one this week. I’m still in the UK, and having a blast! I’ve been managing to get some sightseeing in by waking up early in the mornings and looking around before we have to leave each day for the shows. I had a friend who lives pretty much down the street from me who happened to be in London this last weekend with his family, so I got to hang out and go around town with them! It was soo cool that we just so happened to be in London at the same time. I did sightseeing with them, but they left a few days ago.

This morning, I decided to go to the Tower of London and take a tour around there. It was wicked cool seeing the crown jewels, and to think of how old all the buildings and things there were! Insane! I had a great time. Some other places and things I’ve gotten to go to and see are Covent Garden, Camden Town, Big Ben and Parliament, Buckingham Palace, and Westfield. I’ve managed to get quite a bit in each morning! Amazing what you can get done if you wake up early enough, haha.”

David Archuleta recorded a quick message from the UK where he’s tour with McFly. He also says he has a Twitter account @DavidArchie!

David writes: Just giving you guys an update from the UK! Tour with McFly has been great! Really cool guys. Have done some writing while I’ve been here, and the Paul O’Grady Show appearance airs Thursday.

He also says that Twitter is a great way to communicate with people. “I get to respond to people sometimes. Just let ‘em know random thoughts in my head … it’s fun that way. I know it doesn’t make sense a lot of time, but I always say I never make sense!“

Last night, American Idol Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta returned to the stage that made him a star! He performed his single, Touch My Hand for the audience. How do you think he did?

David is set to tour this summer alongside Demi Lovato — as part of a 45-city tour that kicks off on June 22 in Toronto and ends on August 29 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on April 25.

Demi Lovato has announced her summer tour dates where she’ll be headlining with David Archuleta!

“I’m so excited about headlining my own tour. I love life on the road. I’m in a different city every night and it never gets old,” Demi told People.

Demi Lovato and David Archuleta will be touring together this summer! Dates have yet to be announced but the two are scheduled to hit venues across the country starting in July.

Demi recently released her third single from her album, “Don’t Forget,” and is expected to release a new album by the end of summer.

David just released his second single, “A Little Too Not Over You!”

David Archuleta posted another blog update from tour! He talks about touring with Amie Miriello and hanging out with familiar faces in Los Angeles.

Hey muchachos y muchachas! David here, and I’m in Pocatello, Idaho for our show here tonight. I have to get ready for the show tonight, so I’m going to try and be quick here. Lesley’s not on tour with us anymore :(. I’m really going to miss her, but I wish the best for her! I think she’s going to be doing some TV appearances pretty soon, so look out for her! Amie Miriello will now be doing the last few shows with us. She is AWESOME. Her album is one of the albums I’ve been listening a lot too lately. I’ve mentioned her in one of my blogs before for her song “Snow.” It’s one of my favorite songs. So I hope you guys enjoy her! It’s really exciting to have her on board for a bit haha.”

David Archuleta checks in on his official website from Boise, Idaho to let fans know that this is his last concert with Lesley Roy but he has loved touring with her!

“Hey guys! I’m in Boise right now and I’m getting ready for tonight’s show. It’s coming starting pretty soon haha. I just wanted to let you guys know that tonight is the last show I’m doing with Lesley unfortunately :(. She’s been so much fun to go on tour with! I’m really going to miss her. Her band has been really cool too. So I hope you guys have really enjoyed Lesley at the shows, because I sure have. I hope you guys keep up with what is going on with her too, and show her some love. She loves peanut m&m’s by the way, so if you ever think about getting her anything… haha. She likes vests and the color purple too. But anyway, just wanted to say that Lesley’s been awesome, and I’m sooo glad she was willing to join me on my solo tour. Well I better head out now, the show’s starting soon. I’ll talk to you guys later!”
