Rachel Fox Interviews Winnie the Pooh & Tigger

July 3, 2009 by Nikki Katz

Rachel Fox uploaded a new video on Youtube, showing off the behind-the-scenes of her upcoming project Adventures in Odyssey.

During a break from her work as Anna in the film, Rachel interviewed Jim Cummings, better known as the voice of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.

Voiceover is cool because it doesn’t matter if you’re having a bad hair day or you look a mess. You just go into the booth and do your thing!” explained Rachel regarding her passion and love for recording voice work in the booth.

It was awesome to work with Mr. Cummings, who played King Lawrence on the show. He can change voices in a milli-second and each voice is completely different. I had the great opportunity to talk with him and he agreed to share his Pooh and Tigger voices during the interview.

Rachel also worked with Shane Baumel, who played Kyle in the Adventures in Odyssey episode. “I had worked with Shane before on Ant Bully. We had a lot of fun working together. The episodes are great!”

Taylor Swift - The Story Behind ‘Love Story’

April 24, 2009 by Nikki Katz

Country sweetheart Taylor Swift answers ten fan questions via Time magazine! Here’s a bit of what she had to say…

How long does it take to write a song? Most of the time, songs that I write end up being finished in 30 minutes or less. “Love Story” I wrote on my bedroom floor in about 20 minutes. When I get on a roll with something, it’s really hard for me to put it down unfinished.

What’s the story behind “Love Story”? “Love Story” is actually about a guy that I almost dated. But when I introduced him to my family and my friends, they all said they didn’t like him. All of them! For the first time, I could relate to that Romeo-and-Juliet situation where the only people who wanted them to be together were them. That’s the most romantic song I’ve written, and it’s not even about a person I really dated.

How do you manage to appear so genuinely happy when, according to your songs, you’ve suffered so much heartbreak? I have ways of channeling the heartbreak. Also, it’s been a really awesome year. I get so excited when a song I wrote that’s very personal to me goes No. 1 and I look down and see people singing the words back to me. That makes me so much happier than anything could ever bring me down.

Do you think you have influenced the younger generation to appreciate country more? So many girls come up and say to me, “I have never listened to country music in my life. I didn’t even know my town had a country-music station. Then I got your record, and now I’m obsessed.” That’s the coolest compliment to me.

Zac Efron Never Wanted to be Famous

April 11, 2009 by Nikki Katz

zumasharkworld022214-20081021-zaf-ny6.jpgZac Efron admits that he never wanted to be famous and is sick of seeing his own face!

The 17 Again star recently told USA Weekend that he used to get so frustrated about being a celeb. “For a while, I felt like I was completely lost in celebrity-land. I didn’t know how to handle it. Now I know that I have to plot where I’m going, when I’m going there and where the back entrance is. It’s like I’m playing a giant game of tag.

Zac also says that he’s growing up and wants to continue to grow as an actor. “My taste is changing I’m growing up. I’m definitely not the best actor in the world at this point. But hopefully, with time and effort and smart decisions, that will change.

And what brought him to acting? It was actually singing. “I started singing. I was always singing to the point where my parents would shout, ‘Shut up, Zac! Enough already!’
