Sounds like High School Musical 4 won’t have ANYONE we know from the previous installments! Earlier it was announced that Matt Prokop would not be joining the cast, and now it looks like Jemma McKenzie-Brown has followed suit

The actress, 14, who played Tiara Gold in HSM3 is now back to auditioning, but is grateful to have the Disney smash under her belt.

She said: “I think it’s been decided they’re going for a whole new route with it which is a shame but I had a really good time doing the third one.”

She added: “I’m back to auditioning and have got some cool opportunities and good scripts so hope something comes up!”

“When I’m 16 and have left school I can start concentrating on other stuff and in ten years time I’ll hopefully have a film or two under my belt but I love theatre too so that would be fun.”

Jemma McKenzie-Brown was spotted on the red carpet at the UK premiere of Marley and Me last night. Jemma wore a cute black and white lace dress with her hair in a braided updo.

The High School Musical 3 starlet will be traveling to Italy soon to promote the release of the film’s DVD there.

High School Musical 4 is apparently in the works, and hopefully Jemma will reprise her role as Tiara Gold! “We are writing High School Musical 4,” Disney Channel Worldwide President Rich Ross told the Hollywood Reporter.

Jemma McKenzie-Brown recently chatted with The Mirror and confirms that she’ll be starring in High School Musical 4. She’s also amazed at all the roles being offered to her since playing Tiara in HSM3.

“Since doing the movie I’ve gone from getting auditions for radio plays to getting auditions for films,” she spills. “It’s like, ‘We’re considering Tom Cruise for the role of the father,’ and I’m thinking, ‘Oh God, this is crazy.’”

Jemma has been compared to Miley Cyrus and she admits that it’s strange. “She’s such a massive star. It’d be amazing to be as successful as her but it’s just nice to be classed in the same category. It’s just too huge. Everything is really surreal, it hasn’t sunk in yet. You have to step back. It’s crazy, it’s not something you ever imagine happening to you.”

Jemma McKenzie-Brown, who plays Tiara in High School Musical 3, feared that nobody would know who she was at the UK premiere! Her mother said that the entire event was nerve-wracking.

“When we were getting out of the car Jemma said to me ‘people won’t know who I am’. She was in for a shock as straight away people were asking her for autographs.”

Although there may be a HSM4 in the works, Jemma’s mom says that Jemma has not let her new-found fame go to her head.

“With the filming finished and the promotional work being done Jemma has absolutely loved the whole experience and done really well. She hasn’t let the role change her though. She is still my little girl and has kept her feet firmly on the ground.”
