Another post yesterday from the Jonas Brothers summer tour journal… This time the brothers have a day off. Slackers!! Just kidding

Post 13:

Hey everyone!

Today started in Belfast. We woke up early and caught a plane to Paris. We slept most of the flight. When we landed it was another hour later and we could not wait to see Paris.

Today was an official DAY OFF. We met up with 2 friends we met at the Disney Channel Games in Florida – Martin and Marieke. It was great to reconnect with them. They were amazing. They took us around to all the sites. We saw the Eiffel Tower and all the sites in downtown Paris. It was great to be with someone that could speak the language and explain all of the things we saw.

We met up with our the rest of our team and went to an awesome restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Afterwards we went to a famous French pastry shop called Laduree. Unbelievable!

We can’t wait until tomorrow when we will meet our fans in France.

Another post yesterday from the Jonas Brothers summer tour journal… This time the brothers chat about trying to see a Radiohead concert! They drove all night. And now I can’t get the Celine Dion song out of my head!

Post 12:

Hey everyone! Yesterday we were in Dublin, Ireland. It was amazing. The crowd was shouting, singing and dancing from the very beginning. It was one of our favorite shows ever. At one point someone gave Joe an Irish flag and he waved it during When You Look Me in the Eyes.

An amazing memory! There was a large group of people waiting for us by the buses as we left. After the concert we drove as fast as we could because our promoter gave us tickets to see Radiohead at a castle in Ireland (does it get any better!?!?!). We got there and the concert was over. Oh well, maybe next time.

We drove for 3 hours to Belfast. Got into our rooms really late at night and the internet did not work so we could not put up our blog. Today we went to the town square in Belfast. People starting running up and they wanted pictures. It is still hard to believe that people know our music here already.

The concert tonight was also great. The fans in Ireland are amazing and really know how to bring more out of you. We leave tomorrow for Paris. We just found out that we will be singing at the Eiffel Tower!!! Can’t wait to give you that update!

Another post yesterday from the Jonas Brothers summer tour journal… This time the brothers chat about their drive to London. They drove all night. And now I can’t get the Celine Dion song out of my head!

Post 11:

Hey everyone! Sorry we were not able to post until now. We drove all night from London to Dublin, Ireland.

We are in our hotel doing some press and then we go to the venue to do the show. Yesterday we had press all day. We filmed some more YouTube videos that you will see soon. We also spoke to a lot of magazines and TV shows.

After we went out to a cool area to shop in downtown London. We found an old vintage show and spent all our time there. We tried to find a place to eat but it was beautiful outside so everyone was out and going out to eat. We could not find a restaurant anywhere that didn’t have a HUGE line. We finally went out for Thai food. Awesome!We will write again tomorrow with another update from Ireland.

Another post yesterday from the Jonas Brothers summer tour journal… This time the brothers chat about performing at the 02 Arena!

Post 10:

Hey everyone!

Today was a big day. We spent most of the day doing stuff for radio stations throughout the UK. It was great to talk with people that are playing our song SOS on their radio stations.

We ended the day opening for Avril Lavigne at the famous O2 Arena in London. We had a special acoustic show and meet and greet for fans from London. A lot of people from press, the label, etc. came out to see us perform. The crowd was amazing. Somehow a lot of our fans made their way to the front of the venue and rocked out with us through the entire concert. They made us feel amazing.

Tomorrow we leave for Dublin, then Paris..THEN WE HEAD BACK TO NEW YORK FOR….

THE PREMIERE OF CAMP ROCK on JUNE 11th!!!!

There will be a Red Carpet, the Premiere of the Camp Rock Movie, music, the cast (all of them are amazing) and visiting HOME!

Hello Everybody!

How are you?

Today was a great day! We woke up then went on the bus… went back to sleep. Then we had a radio interview. After that headed to the concert where we had tons of fun.

After the show we ate pizza and sang sing-a-long songs together. Wish you were there.

Post 8:

Hey everyone! Today was a fun filled day in London, England. We started early in the morning.

Today we did 2 TV appearances. One was for the BBC
and the other for a show called LOOSE WOMEN. For the BBC we performed SOS in an old theater. It was amazing. It seems everyone has played there through the years. We actually played in the front lobby. It was a cool setting as people walked by and looked inside as we were singing..

The second TV appearance was back at the same studios as the Paul O’Grady show. The LOOSE WOMEN were so nice. We sang SOS again. We ended the night by eating at one of our favorite sushi restaurants, NOBU.

It was incredible. Do you guys like sushi? London is a wonderful place. There is so much to see and experience. Oh by the way, please check out our new YouTube video on our YouTube..

The latest post from the Jonas Brothers summer tour journal…

Post 7:

Hey everyone! Today was an amazing day. We were able to sleep in this morning. It was good to catch up on our sleep. We have been running since we arrived in Europe. We left our hotel today at 2 pm and went to see Indiana Jones.

We are in Plymouth, England (where the Mayflower sailed to the US). The movie rocked. Shia LaBeouf was amazing. He is an incredible actor. On the way to the movie theater we heard SOS on the radio in England.

And tonight the video was on TV. That was fantastic. The show tonight was great. The audience was dancing and singing along. Every day feels like more and more people are aware of the music. We had a four hour drive back to London tonight. Pretty tired. Tomorrow we have a lot of press and TV.

Another installment of the Jonas Brothers summer tour journal…

Post 6:

Hey everyone! Sorry we missed yesterday’s blog. There was no internet service where we were and so we had to wait until today. Thanks for checking.

Yesterday we started the day by visiting a radio station in Birmingham, England. There were fans outside waiting when we arrived at the station. We had a great interview and then they dialed us in to another station for another interview.

Our show yesterday in Birmingham was amazing! The crowd was with us from the beginning. They made us feel so welcome. Avril came out during our set and listened to our show. We met her after the set and she was so nice. We went out and listened to her show tonight. It is amazing how many hits she has recorded.

After the show we drove back to London. Remember the doubledecker bus.. well it got stuck and could not fit into the street where we were staying. We had to get out and get another car to drive us to the hotel.

Today we started the day in London. We recorded a really cool show called Green Room. The put you in a Green Room with other bands and artists. After a while each group goes out and performs in front of a studio audience.

The other bands/artists were cool. They put all kinds of weird things in the Green Room. They should not let Joe near some of those things, i.e. Hulk hands, Mexican wrestling masks, etc.

After the Green Room we went outside and there were tons of fans waiting for us in the street. It is so fun to see people in another country that seem to like our music. We still can’t believe it!

Then we drove to Cardiff, Wales. The show was amazing again. Each show is getting more and more exciting. After the show we drove to the next town and we will have another show tomorrow. Thanks for checking in each day. You are the best

Another installment of the Jonas Brothers summer tour journal…

Post 5:

Hey everyone! Today was our third show on our European tour with Avril! The day started in London and when we woke up we got to see our brand new bus for the first time. Getting up this morning wasn’t to hard. When we walked on the bus we were already excited because our bus is a cool blue color!

When we walked on the bus we were on the first floor of the bus. I know what your thinking ‘first floor’? We know its crazy?! The buses here are double deckers (even the touring kind). The downstairs has an awesome lounge and full kitchen and of course.. the driver! Then we walked upstairs and that’s where all the bunks are. The bunks are great and very comfortable.

The only thing is that all of the plugs for your cell phone and computers are all different. You need all different sorts of electric converters. The bus also has an awesome lounge upstairs where there is a game system and a TV and lots and lots of DVD’s. But for all of us the coolest part is that there is a sitting area right above the driver with massage chairs and a giant glass window to look out while we drive! So cool.

We drove to Manchester! When we got there we did a bunch of stuff for radio today and it was very cool getting to be in a brand new city and know that they have been playing our song SOS. Then we headed to the venue where we had sound check and did some French TV liners. We have to say we got pretty good at our French accents but we need lots more practice.

The show was amazing and from the very start of it people were jumping up and down and going crazy. It was so cool to see people singing the words to songs that have never been released here in the UK. It was amazing. When we left there were tons of people outside by the gate and we made sure we said hello and took lots of pictures. Tomorrow’s going to be a great as well. We can’t wait for our first show in Burmingham!
