Nick Jonas and his brothers really want to be a band that lasts. Really really really.

I think we would love to be a band that really does last,” Nick shares with Popstar!. “And because we are brothers, I think it really helps. And also because we do write our own songs and we’re in the studio when they’re made, I think that we will be a big part of it.

Nick also attributes some of the success to their fresh tunes. “We just try to find really great music and write songs like the really great music that we’re listening to because people love good music,” Nick says. “On the new CD there are some Elvis Costello influences as well as the Beatles. The Jonas Brothers “We Know We’re Living a Lot of People’s Dreams”

March 1, 2008 by Nikki Katz

The Jonas Brothers recently had an interview with Grand Central magazine.

When asked if they wish they had a normal life, Nick said, “I think we love what we do and we know that we’re living a lot of people’s dreams.

Joe chatted about their new roles as actors. “For us, acting is a lot of fun. It’s something new, for sure. It’s also kind of easier than being on stage, because if you mess up a line, you can say, ‘cut,’ and start over, rather than being on stage.

If you mess up a lyric, you can’t say, ‘All right, cut. Let’s do that song again.’” Joe continues. “So we have a lot of fun acting. And I think we’re probably going to be doing it more often.

The brothers were also asked if they ever get sick of their own songs.

I actually don’t think we have that problem,” Kevin started, but Nick disagreed.

Maybe like the older songs, when we first started, we sometimes think about how happy we are with our music now,” Nick said. “But usually we’re not like, ‘Oh, no, not this one.’“.

Kevin admitted to listening to the radio countdowns! “We still listen to the countdowns on the radio stations every night, and are excited. If we hear a song on the radio, we like turn it up and crank it up. We’re freaking out that we’re on Top 40 radio, and that we’re actually moving up the chart is a whole other thing, and we love it.
