Jamie Lynn Spears is adjusting to life with Maddie Briann but she wants to make sure her daughter has a normal life.

“More than anything, I just want this baby to have a normal life,” Jamie Lynn told Ok! Magazine.

“We want to give the baby the most normal life she could ever have.”

Jamie Lynn Spears reportedly came up with the name Maddie Briann from a famous children’s book character!! Supposedly the name stems from the series of Madeline children’s books.

Jamie Lynn was, according to the New York Daily News, fascinated with the Ludwig Bemelman classics.

“Jamie was a huge fan of the Madeline children’s books when she was a little girl and always wanted to name her daughter that,” sources say.

First of all, I can’t even find a Myspace page for Jamie Lynn that has blog updates. Second of all, with the gazillion dollars that Jamie Lynn can make from the first pictures of her daughter, do you really think shed post these candids?!?

Jamie Lynn Spears says that she is thrilled with her new baby girl, Maddie! Jamie Lynn gave birth yesterday morning.

“We’re thrilled, we’re all absolutely thrilled,” Jamie Spears told Life and Style Magazine. A friend of the couple says they were looking forward to having the baby. “She was so excited about having this child. (They were) looking forward to it so much,” says the insider.
