Miley Cyrus - “I Was Embarrassed” Vanity Fair Shoot

Miley Cyrus recently opened up to Billboard about her controversial Vanity Fair photo shoot. “I was embarrassed,” Miley says. “But also it’s like, every career thing that I do can’t be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong. I think that just makes me even more relatable.”
Miley says that it still hurts but she’s ready to move on. It’s no surprise considering she’s working on the Hannah Montana movie and she’s releasing her new album, Breakout, on July 22. Thanks Robyn!
Miley Cyrus Flip-Flops

No, not the kind you wear on your feet! It seems that Miley Cyrus is flip-flopping in her viewpoint of those now infamous Vanity Fair pics. Originally Miley said she loved them! But now she’s deeply embarrassed…
Miley initially told Vanity Fair writer Bruce Handy that the pictures were cool! “Annie took, like, a beautiful shot, and I thought it was really cool. That’s what she wanted me to do, and you can’t say no to Annie.” Miley went on, “I think it’s really artsy. It wasn’t in a skanky way.”
But as soon as the pics were released and the media went to town, Miley changed her tune. In her released statement Miley says, “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”
You know, you have to wonder if Miley and her family would have just stood their ground and said that they viewed the pics as artistic and age-appropriate - would all of this died down MUCH quicker?

Miley Says She’s Embarassed Over Topless Picture

Miley Cyrus is now saying that she’s embarrassed over the topless picture she took for Vanity Fair.
“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” says Miley. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”
A Disney Channel spokesperson adds: “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.”
Yikes! I wonder if she “feels bad” only because of the backlash??
