Miranda Cosgrove recently chatted with The Daily Dish on her summer plans!

Miranda reveals that she’s “Just going to the beach, hanging out with my friends, seeing movies, having a lot of sleepovers. I’m happy there’s not going to be any schoolwork for a little while.”

She continues, talking about her plans for heading to the ocean. “I love the beach! I’m going to go to the beach like crazy, that’s my thing for the summer. I want to take surfing lessons, that’d be so fun! I’ve never tried to surf before.”

Miranda Cosgrove flashes a You’re So Cute heart sign to the paparazzi while shopping at Kitson yesterday afternoon!

The iCarly actress spent the day shopping with the show’s creator Dan Schneider’s wife, Lisa.

Miranda tweeted, saying, “Shopping with @hungrygirl! I thought I was going to work all day and was surprised! I get to do fun things all day for my birthday! Ahhh?!? Getting my nails done! This day has been so much fun!”

Congratulations to Miranda, who is up for several Teen Choice Awards! Miranda is up for Choice TV Actress: Comedy and iCarly is up for Choice TV Show: Comedy!

Miranda Cosgrove has been tweeting this morning about an adorable puppy she saw and then she she quickly moved to working on her script!

In a pet store wanting to take every puppy home! Especially this one! http://twitpic.com/6kx0g. I’m not really going to get a puppy! I wish I was. I would go to a shelter! I adopted my cat from 1 & she’s the cutest sweetest thing ever. Learning lines…:)

I got the chance to chat with Miranda Cosgrove briefly at last night’s MTV Movie Awards! She was such a sweetheart, very personable, just like on iCarly.

I asked Miranda who she would sit next to at the event (if she had the choice) and she chose Kings of Leon. I also asked her how she chose what to wear to the event.

Miranda Cosgrove turned sweet sixteen on May 14th and had a late birthday celebration on Saturday night! The event was held at Siren Studios nightclub in Los Angeles and Miranda was joined by some of her friends, including Dylan Sprouse, Cole Sprouse, Keke Palmer, Nathan Kress, and Jennette McCurdy.

Miranda was surprised by the cupcake tower from Crumbs and a performance from “Love Song” singer Sara Bareilles. She also got a gift from Nickelodeon - a customized acoustic Gibson guitar.

“I was a little nervous coming in,” Miranda said, but then revealed she had a great time!

Miranda reveals that she isn’t sure what kind of car she wants to get. “My mom wants me to get a Prius,” she revealed. “I think [Volkswagen] Bugs are super cute and you can get them in different colors, but my mom thinks they’re dorky, so she won’t let me get one.”

Miranda Cosgrove scored a ton of gifts for her sixteenth birthday yesterday!! She reportedly received Guitar Hero World Tour for Nintendo Wii and a brand-new watch! She also had lunch with her parents and a friend at the Big Sugar Bakeshop in L.A.

The iCarly starlet tweeted last night about her day, saying “Great day!!! I got to hang out with the cast and crew of iCarly! One of my bffs came to the set today too. All my favorite people.”

Wishing Miranda Cosgrove a very happy Sweet Sixteenth birthday today!!

Miranda tweeted early this morning, saying, “I’m sixteen!!! Thanks so much to every1 who wished me a happy birthday!”

Miranda looked amazing in this white Gustavo Cadile gown at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner earlier this week. She said it was “one of the coolest days ever! I was invited to a dinner with some of my fave actors and I got to hear the president give a speech!”

Miranda Cosgrove recently chatted with BOP and Tiger Beat about the appeal of bad boys!

Miranda starts by talking about her character on iCarly. “Carly’s the sweet one who’s trying to do the right thing but for this special, she crushes on the bad boy. Spencer, her brother, freaks out about it so it’s cool because I’m playing the crazy one and he’s more in control. He doesn’t want me dating a boy, especially a bad boy.”

As for why girls like the bad boys, Miranda says it’s “just because he’s mysterious and cool. There’s always a story behind him.”

And who has she crushed on? “I like Robert Pattinson! He’s really cute. I’ve liked the rebellious guy before.”

And if her friends didn’t like the guy she was dating, Miranda reveals that she would “explain that they have to get to know the person before judging them. That’s kind of what happens to Carly in this episode.”

After a book reading appearance at American Girl Miranda Cosgrove headed with friend Haley Ramm to do some shopping at Nordstrom earlier this week!
