Nick Jonas recently chatted with USA Today about his solo group, The Administration.
Nick made the album in eight days with producer John Fields, who also played bass. Additional members include drummer Michael Bland, keyboardist Tommy Barbarella, guitarist David Ryan Harris & Sonny Thompson.
Nick reveals, “I had written five or six songs that were on my heart, things that were just pouring out of me with this new and exciting sound. Amazon.com has posted the single cover & preview for “Who I Am,” the first single from Nick Jonas & the Administration. The single will be available on December 3.
Nick’s mom, Denise, was the one who spilled the beans about Nick’s solo act. She revealed to Parade, “Nick is working on a solo act–it’s called Nick Jonas and The Administration. Shhh! He’s at the photo shoot for the album cover right now.”

Nick Jonas updated his Simple Wins blog and talks about dealing with diabetes while on the road.
He writes, “Hello Everyone, October has been another busy month, my brothers and I just finished filming Camp Rock 2 and head back on the road this weekend to finish up our World Tour. Earlier today Parade.com spilled news that Denise Jonas (mother to the Jonas Brothers) revealed Nick Jonas is working on a solo act!
“Nick is working on a solo act–it’s called Nick Jonas and The Administration. Shhh! He’s at the photo shoot for the album cover right now,” Denise told Parade.com.
Of course this led to fans freaking out – wondering if the group was breaking up. That’s not the case. The Nick, Joe, and Kevin took to MySpace to clear up the rumors.

Nick Jonas produces a video that features him, Joe Jonas, and Demi Lovato! The video, called Bounce, also features guest appearances by Big Rob and some of the Camp Rock 2 dancers.
Demi starts off the video acting like Fergie and singing ‘Let’s Get it Started.”
Nick (wearing dark sunglasses and a mustache) and Joe (dressed in 80’s attire) start the video bouncing!

Joe and Nick Jonas take part in CIBC’s Run For The Cure 5K Run in Toronto, Canada this weekend. The brothers participated with 30,000 other runners in bid to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer.

Joe wore a black top with black pants, while Nick wore a white top paired with blacks pants. Each of the brothers wore matching caps with the tagline “i Win” on the front part.

Nick Jonas chatted with PEOPLE about his seventeenth birthday!
“It’s exciting,” Nick said from the set of Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam. “I feel 24 hours different than when I was 16.”
With his entire family on set, including his youngest brother Frankie, the cast and crew sang “Happy Birthday” to Nick and presented a light blue vanilla cake with cream filling.
