Selena Gomez revealed her love of baking as she taught correspondent Maggie Rodriguez how to make her aunt’s cheesecake using Oreo cookies, ladyfingers, strawberries, and white chocolate on CBS’ The Early Show this morning.

Selena says she’s only an occasional cook but when she gets her own home she wants a huge kitchen!

Selena shared, “I find cooking very therapeutic. I have zero time to ever do it, but once I have a house of my own, one day, I’ll have time to do that. I’d love to go to culinary school.”

Selena Gomez headed out to the Raise Hope for the Congo event last night.

The Wizards of Waverly Place starlet looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder white dress with strappy beige heels.

Selena recently revealed that sometimes it was tough making a movie with her best friend, Demi Lovato.

“Sometimes our director would have to say, ‘Okay, girls, remember you don’t like each other,’” Selena said about their time spent filming Princess Protection Program. “So that was a bit of a challenge.”

Demi Lovato sends a goodnight kiss to all the fans last night after the premiere of Princess Protection Program on Disney!

Demi tweeted, “Thank you to everyone who watched the movie! I hope you liked it! A goodnight kiss to all of you.”

Selena also wrote on Twitter during the movie … “aww Princess Protection Program is making me miss all of my ppp pals!” and later she wrote “Just wanted to thank everyone for watching Princess tonight!!! You guys are the reason Demi and I were able to mak that movie!! thank you!!!”

Selena Gomez and the rest of the cast of Ramona and Beezus talk to Entertainment Tonight about their favorite weddings and filming the wedding scene in the movie.

“I haven’t been in a wedding for a really long time,” Selena says.

“Beezus is a bridesmaid and it’s just she and Joey. It’s kind of like a kid wedding,” she continues.

“In third grade we read all the books in school, and I love that. I love that it kind of captures each kind of generation and I think that’s wonderful.“

Selena Gomez reveals that she struggles with being green. I think most of us can identify with that!

“What’s really bad about me is I leave the lights on everywhere I go,” she confesses to MNN.

Selena did reveal that her Wizards of Waverly Place set is as green as possible. “We have double-sided scripts and we recycle them. We don’t use [plastic] water bottles. We’re doing our best — we’re trying. Every little thing counts.”

As far as being green, Selena says that she does have a green thumb! “I loved biology and botany. I love plants and gardening. That’s from my grandmother — I loved watching her. I would love to have my own garden someday for sure.”

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato crashed a prom last week!

The two friends were in Toronto celebrating the launch of their new Disney movie Princess Protection Program when they decided to check out a prom at nearby Etobicoke Collegiate Institute.

Security guards allowed Demi and Selena to sneak into the event, where they mingled with stunned students, and even took to the dance floor to show off their moves.

Selena even tweeted about it, saying “Ppp (Princess Protection Program) peeps and I crashed a prom tonight and danced with a highschool!! amazing!! I finally had prom!”

Selena Gomez reveals that she plans on leaving The Wizards of Waverly Place when the season wraps — to go to college and focus on movies.

“I think this’ll be the last series that I do,” Selena told told The New York Post.

“I’m going to try to pull a Natalie Portman” said Selena, who has her sights set on Northwestern University. “Natalie went to Harvard while shooting Star Wars.”

Selena is taking it smart. “I’m going to make that transition slowly. I’m not going to immediately go do something that’s way off the charts, because my goal is to keep my audience and have them grow with me.”

Selena Gomez is featured in a new article from Parade magazine where she talks about her career, being a good role model, and her romantic life!

Selena knows that she’s in a position to set a good example for kids. “I think that it’s part of the job where you turn into a role model,” she says. “It’s not something I aimed toward. But now that it’s kind of a title, I do embrace it, because it’s very sweet to have little girls have posters and T-shirts of you.”

Admitting to making mistakes, Selena says she just hopes she can keep them to herself! She also refuses to deny or confirm any of her romantic relationships. “I love talking about boys. I used to worry about it, but I decided that it’s wrong not to go out to eat with friends or to the movies, because people might see me. It’s exhausting to shield yourself all the time. Still, it seems that boyfriends are all people care about when they write about me.”

Even more important than boys is her BFF Demi Lovato. She and Demi have bonded over being stars at such a young age. “On tour and on our shows, we are forced to be mature. So when we get together, we’re able to be 16. We have sleep­overs and do each other’s hair and makeup and all that stuff.”

And Selena insists that she is anything but spoiled. “It irritates me when people think I live such a special life and that I’m spoiled. I’m an only child, but my grandmother babysat 13 kids at once, so I grew up with a bunch of kids around me. I had lunch at Subway today. My favorite food is fried pickles at Hooters.”

Selena then turned the tables on host Jimmy Fallon, asking HIM questions during her appearance on the show!
