Taylor Momsen was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City, wearing a hot pink dress and black boots.

Taylor recently chatted with MTV about music and her band, The Pretty Reckless.

“In everything I do, I’m influenced by music. Music feeds my soul,” she said. “As far as style, I’m influenced by eras that had music [I] liked. Music became a persona to me.”

That persona started when Taylor was a kid when her dad played rock music for her when she was a kid. “I grew up listening to the Beatles on vinyl with my dad,” she explained. “So I grew up kind of listening to good records. I worked my way into Joan Jett and the Runaways records and Blondie and Garbage. Garbage became a huge influence on me.”

Taylor Momsen showed up at the star-studded red carpet event for the premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen last night!

The Gossip Girl starlet posed for pictures in her tight white lingerie-inspired dress and gladiator sandals before heading in to watch the film.

Taylor has been keeping busy with her new band, Pretty Reckless and even played at the House of Blues in Dallas on Wednesday night.

Blake revealed to JustJared about her recent vacation. “I’ve traveled all over Asia,” she shared, “I went to Thailand, India and Maldives. I stayed at the most incredible place in the Maldives called Soneva Gili and you have to take a boat to get to your glass-bottom hut in the middle of the water. It’s gorgeous!”

She reveals that she rode an elephant barefoot! “It’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever done. I got a painting that an elephant made for me and that is definitely my most prized possession. And some beautiful jewelry from India!”

Taylor was there to introduce All American Rejects for their performance at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ. She also posed with Fergie backstage!

Taylor Momsen performs A.D.D. with her band, The Pretty Reckless!

Taylor and her band opened up for the Veronicas at the Annex in New York City earlier this week and will continue to do so until June 30th.

The band has also scored a record deal with Interscope Records and is expected to release its debut album this fall.

Taylor Momsen was spotted out with her mom Colette Momsen at the launch of Carrera Vintage Sunglasses in New York City yesterday. Debbie Harry ( of Blondie fame ) was the featured performer at the event, where Taylor wore a black leather jacket and boots with her white little dress.

The day before Taylor was out with Gossip Girl costars Penn Badgley and Matthew Settle. They were running lines on location in Manhattan’s swanky Upper East Side, trying to stay warm in between takes!

Like many of the Gossip Girl offscreen couples, Taylor Momsen has been linked with co-star Chace Crawford, but she says there’s nothing to the rumor.

“No,” she tells OK! “It’s great, because going to set we’re all such good friends. And you know, rumors are rumors.”

Taylor says that dating’s just not a priority. “It’s not really priority in all honesty … because I love what I do right now. So dating isn’t at the top of my agenda.”

I personally think it’s a good idea. Taylor’s still pretty young and she’s focusing on her band and acting. Keep boys out of it!

Taylor Momsen says that she’s starting her own rock group and going on tour this year! Teen Vogue caught up with the Gossip Girl starlet at the Jen Kao’s Fall Fashion Week presentation.

“We’re putting out our album this year,” Taylor says. “Hopefully starting a tour around April, so check it out!”

When asked what kind of song the band is, Taylor responds, saying “I don’t know how to classify it yet, exactly. I do write it all 100% myself, and I’m the lead singer, and I play guitar, and I totally oversee it. It’s a huge passion and totally important to me!”

Taylor reveals that it’s a little bit dark and heavier.
