The 2009 Teen Choice Awards are open for voting!! Nominees have just been announced and all your favorite celebs are up for awards.

The Jonas Brothers will be hosting the event, which will air Monday, August 10th on FOX.

Twilight and its cast have 12 nominations. High School Musical 3: Senior Year and its cast, Miley Cyrus, and TV’s Gossip Girl and cast all have 10 nominations each.

The Jonas Brothers snagged nine nominations including: Choice Move: Music/Dance, Choice TV Actor: Comedy, Choice TV: Breakout Show, Choice Music: Love Song, and more.

Selena Gomez admits that she finally saw Twilight and loved the movie! “It was good. It was really good,” she told reporters at ABC’s press junket for Princess Protection Program on Saturday.

Selena continued, saying that “I really liked it.”

When it comes to Robert Pattinson, Selena admits that she now gets his popularity. “I can totally see the Robert Pattinson thing now. That’s for sure.”

Still, I’m sure she’s Team Jacob, even though she denies dating Taylor Lautner.

“I’m not! No,” she insists when asked if she hooked up with Taylor in Vancouver, Canada for the filming of their movies.

“I’ve been really blessed to meet some really nice people when I was working in Vancouver and I’m the happiest I’ve been in awhile. That’s all that matters,” she insists.

Twilight raked in a whopping FIVE awards tonight at the MTV Movie Awards! They took home Best Picture, Best Female Performance (Kristen Stewart), Male Breakthrough Performance (Robert Pattinson), Best Kiss (Rob and Kristen) and Best Fight (Rob and Cam Gigandet).

Kristen Stewart reveals that she feels less pressure to play Bella Swan than Joan Jett! The New Moon actress thinks playing Joan Jett in The Runaways will be a lot more intense.

Kristen is really excited about playing Joan but isn’t sure if she will be singing any of her songs. She told FilmFlick, “I don’t know if I’ll be singing or lip-syncing. Joan kind of yells so I can do what she does. I’m not sure what will happen, but it’s not up to me. I got to hang out with Joan Jett over the holidays, and that is the coolest thing I’ve ever done. She told me the whole history of her band and her life and what music means to her. It’s an enormous responsibility to play her.”

“When Twilight came out, people were like, ‘Oh, wow! The expectations of the fans must be really intense.’ But this is way, way, way more intense.’ I have to handle the expectations of Joan Jett! I’ll take the vampire fans any day!”

Summit Entertainment announced today that David Slade has been hired to direct Eclipse! The third film in the Twilight Series is set to premiere on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

In the film, Bella (Kristen Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Robert Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Stephenie Meyer is thrilled with the director, saying “He’s a visionary filmmaker who has so much to offer this franchise. From the beginning, we’ve been blessed with wonderful directorial talent for the Twilight Saga, and I’m so happy that Eclipse will be carrying on with that tradition.”

Tiffany Giardina recently sat down with TeenMusic to chat about her album, touring, and being a Twilight fan!

Tiffany talks about the message behind her song, No Average Angel. “Really, it’s just not to be afraid to be who you are. Everybody is different and unique in their own way and that’s just a song about empowering girls to be different.”

She also chats about doing her middle school tours. “I love doing the Middle School tours so much because it’s not like Madison Square Garden where I can’t really talk to and see everybody. I like those small, up close and personal shows because I get to know the kids more and they get to know me more and I do little question and answers and they get to know me a lot.” But one thing she doesn’t love is having to get up early to go to the schools!

So what does Tiffany do to relax on tour? “I just got a bus so we’re going to see how that goes. I’m really excited about that. I’m gonna bring my Wii with me. Like Wii Yoga, I love doing all that. It gets me all un-stressed and ready to go for a show.”

As for her best fan encounter, Tiffany says that, “I’m Team Jacob and I said that in one of my interviews, and these fans brought me a werewolf and put a ‘Team Jacob’ shirt on him and a button on him and I was so excited. He’s in the second movie more. I can’t wait.”

In a very candid and honest interview with GQ, Robert Pattinson opens up about acting, his role in Little Ashes, and all the gossip surrounding him and the ladies!

When it comes to Camilla Belle, Robert admits that it’s the funniest rumor. “No. I mean, yeah, yeah, I’m friends with -Camilla.”

Rob explains that Camilla once dated his friend, Tom Sturridge, and that’s how he knows her. “It’s funny, though, because I met her at her place the other day, and there’s a security gate, and even the security woman—I guess she knows that Camilla lives there, and she was like, ‘Oooh!’”

So he picked her up at her apartment? And we’ve seen the pictures “Like, once,” Rob says. “That’s the extent of it. I mean, Camilla’s the nicest—she’s a saint. And it’s funny that she’s being portrayed as this home wrecker. She’s literally the most unlikely person to be a home wrecker. It’s just ridiculous.”

Rob goes on to say that he doesn’t see people. “I don’t even have people’s phone numbers. I almost don’t want to have a girlfriend, in this environment.”

And at the very end he jokingly says he loves Joe Jonas
Robert also admits he hasn’t watched himself in a film since Harry Potter. He took his mom to the American Twilight premiere, squirmed through the first ten minutes, then bolted. “I went out and sat in the car, having a full-blown panic attack.”

In other news, Kristen Stewart is speaking out about her recent quote in Nylon. The magazine originally quoted her as saying … “Anywhere we’d go for Twilight was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it’s thoughtless, as well… You get a slew of all these bullshit questions like, ‘What’s it like to kiss a vampire?’ and ‘How much do you love Robert?’ Then you’ll get one that’s actually real, but you’re like, ‘No, I can’t right now, I can’t even consider [it].”

The quote met with a lot of bad press and Twilight fans speaking out against the starlet. Kristen now retaliates, telling Collider …

“I love the Twilight fans. I have literally never said anything remotely negative about them. You have to stay away from certain key words that can be twisted in a negative connotation. Like the word ‘psychotic’ apparently, is really bad! [we laugh]. I don’t understand why. I feel like it’s a humble position to take that it’s not normal to find yourself in a situation where there are five thousand screaming girls and you’re being literally fodder. I feel like that’s not normal or something I should just say ‘oh, yeah. It’s cool’. I feel like everything I said in that Nylon interview was honest and genuine and talking about something that I am so immersed in that I have absolutely no control over and I’m just trying to stay honest and true to something that I care about.“
