Taylor Swift Chats Shock Over VMA Nom & Joe Jonas

Taylor Swift says that’s she’s shocked to be up for an MTV Video Music Award!! Taylor is nominated for Best New Artist for her song ‘Teardrops on My Guitar,’ which originally started as a country song.
Even though the song became a pop success, Taylor still was surprised over the nomination. ““I was so shocked. I started screaming, ‘I get to go to the VMAs!’ I didn’t think I’d get to go to the VMAs. I’m not that cool. As a country artist, I’ve been pretty unapologetic about it. [But] it’s cool to be included.”
The video for the song takes place in high school, even though Taylor no longer goes. She says that she wanted it in that setting to be authentic to the song. “We came up with the idea because basically what you see in the video is what the song is about,” she said. “We thought maybe we’d make it a more city video, but we got back to basics. I wanted to make a video about what the song was about.”
Taylor wrote the song about an ex-boyfriend, Drew. She said it was a venting process to write the song and she got over it. But he showed up in her driveway this last year! “He showed up in my driveway this Christmas, and it was awkward because it was three years after I wrote the song,” she said. “He was like, ‘Hey.’ It was definitely weird. I was going to a hockey game with my friends, and it was the most drama you could have when you have to go pick up your friends.”
Taylor is also in headlines for her relationship with Joe Jonas. Taylor didn’t say much on the subject. “For me, in dealing with things that people write, I try not to let it affect my life,” she said. “He’s an amazing guy, and anyone would be lucky to be dating him.”

Whether or not they are dating, I think the quotes they are giving the media are hilarious. The reason they might be going out isn’t obvious due to the fact that they all said the same thing, it’s more or less the fact that they (Nick/Selena, Joe/Taylor) are always together.

They might as well say they’re dating ’cause we will find out some how, sooner or later. Like remember Miley and Nick? They denied they were dating and we found out after 2 years when they broke up but we still found out. Zac and Vannessa are another example, ‘cus aren’t they like moving in with each other?
Anyways, we might as well think all celebs are liars when it comes to dating.
