Tony Oller Talks High School Musical 3 Tryout

My goodness, we just keeping hearing more and more about current celebs trying out for High School Musical 3! Are they going to bring in ANY new talent?

The most recent star to audition is Tony Oller, star of the Disney Channel short series As the Bell Rings.

Tony recently posted on his MySpace blog that he climbed the ladder through three rounds of auditions for HSM3 and got to do a screen test as well.

He was auditioning for what he called his “dream role” as a new addition to the High School Musical gang, a new character named Jimmie “The Rocket” Soto. The new guy “plays basketball and he wants to be like Troy,” according to Tony.

“I worked really hard and did my best. So now I hope and pray I get it,” he confided.

Could this possibly be competition for Jake Thomas?
