Vanessa Hudgens ‘Beastly’

It looks like Vanessa Hudgens may be starring as the fair maiden in the upcoming Beastly!

Following on the heels of other modern-day fairytales, Beastly is a take on Beauty and the Beast. The film (set to begin filming this summer) will be set in Manhattan and will involve a handsome rich kid with a mean streak as the Beast.

The Beast character ends up ditching a date who ends up being a witch, and the disgruntled girl casts a spell on him, turning him into everything he hates. Of course Vanessa will have to fall in love with him and break the spell.
