Vanessa also talks about her sense of style, “I like putting things together that you would not expect. It’s always me.” And she’s going to be extra cautious with her upcoming projects. “I don’t want to do something that messes me up mentally. I think people just don’t realize that sometimes actors can really take it in and become that person.”
Vanessa is very proud to play Gabriella in the High School Musical series because she is Hispanic. “It’s nice to be able to stand up for people who don’t have someone to look up to very often.”
“Your fans are the ones who support your movies,” Vanessa continues. “Without them, your career is over. I’m turning 20 this year, so of course I’m going to have to grow up. But I’ll do it when the time is right.”
