  Her dad is a phony! He uses her mostly just to get himself famous again.That’s why he sings in the show all the time! Laura, plz tell me you realize this?

  HATERS! I thought Miley sound great! She does reportedly have strep throat. It is a pain singing with strep throat, believe me. It’s also hard to talk. I give her props for getting out there and giving it her best (:

  Why is it the SAMEEE people who always bash her on here?
  The girk had STREP THROAT, and still got out there and gave it her all. I commend her for that alone. With that said, I think she did great! Yeah, a few cracks here and there.. but she sang 100% live, with a throat infection. She’s awesome.

  a few cracks here and there???? yeah right more like a few good notes here and there. i dont mean to be a miley basher but i just speak what i hear. and ok maybe she did have a throat thing. but did she have a throat infectoin at the KCA’s. yeppp i dont think so.

  Listen, the tone of her voice is based on personal choice. Either you like it or you don’t. obviously, you dont. But saying she can’t sing is stupid,imo. Because then what did she do when she got up there? Why would she have a record deal? Sold out concerts ( with great reviews) and a hit show??
  AND NO.. it had nothing to do with her dad. The audition videos are on youtube.. not to mention he was a one hit wonder that no one even knew about when they cast her. So they obviously wouldnt give her a show on Disney because she had a dad in country music 10 years back.

  Wow. One hit wonder huh? Uh, right. Billy Ray Cyrus was and is a household name in country music, and he had his own show (Doc) before he was on the Disney channel with his daughter. I’d recommend doing a little research before you make your next argument for Miley.

  As far as her voice, come on, if she was sick she was sick, she tried. If this is a normal thing–uh, it has nothing to do with preference and everything to do with pitch and harmony and that missed the mark. By a lot. However, she sounded strained when she was singing, and having just been screwed by Sugarland and Little Big Town due to artist illness, I can appreciate anyone that gets out there and does their thing anyway. Cuz let me tell you, paying for tickets and having people drive two hours to go to a concert sucks.
