Keds is launching their new Green Label this spring – it’s their first ever sustainable line of footwear using 100% organic cotton and 20% recycled rubber in the outsoles. And they’ve given us FOUR pairs to give away!
The Keds Green Label comes in three eye-catching colors made with non-toxic links and dyes. I love them all, but the green pair is definitely eye-catching!
Keds has also partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation and will plant a tree for every pair of shoes purchased in 2009.

I think it is such a great way to help the enviorment and it will proberly inspire other brand of clothing or shoe brands to go green. it is a step forward to treating our enviorment better and ending global warming one step at a time. its two good results about this going green and being fashionable :]

I wore my first pair of Keds back in the 60’s. They were red and had white rubber across the toes. Now Keds are organic…that’s wonderful news! I love the fact that organic cotton and recycled rubber is used. I think I’d like the green pair, but hmmm…do they come in red?
That they are cruelty free and have no dead animal skins!

Keds are finally making shoes that don’t stampede all over the environment! I always wondered why big-name shoe companies don’t utilize more recycling practices; so I’m glad Keds stepped up!
