Wizards of Waverly Place
Wizards of Waverly Place is a new comedy airing in October, 2007 on the Disney Channel! Plot Alex Russo and her brothers Justin and Max living Manhattan, but unlike the other teens in their neighborhood, these three come from a long line of wizards. Unfortunately only one child gets to keep their magical powers and the strongest one wins. Their father was born with the same powers but was forced to relinquish them when his brother, Kelbo, surpassed him magically. Their mother is mortal. While their parents run the family business, Waverly Sub Station, the three siblings get in and out of trouble as they grapple with both their budding wizardly powers and typical teen challenges.

Only when his no-nonsense style of teaching brings out the worst in Alex, it’s up to Justin to teach his little sister how to become an expert magic carpet pilot and mend the rift between father and daughter.

When Alex performs a spell in an attempt to vanish Justin’s new zit she instead brings it to life and Justin is stuck with it just before attending the school dance. At first the zit proves to be helpful by serving in a Cyrano capacity as Justin tries to impress his date Miranda but when it begins to insult people, Alex arrives in time to turn it back into a plain old zit on Justin’s forehead.

When Alex uses an emotion potion to get a boy to like her, she accidentally takes the entire dose herself which results in her falling in love with herself. Justin tries to prevent her from bragging about her perfection in order to stop her head from growing too big, literally. Meanwhile, Max wakes up and discovers his powers.
